Oh, sorry I didn't answer sooner, I thought you were asking about the other game, since that is apparently what this thread is for now I only ever tested the shot gun and the first machine gun, with a couple of shots fired of the rocket launcher. I really thought that the machine gun worked reasonably well at all distances after a few upgrades, but I think the Vaporizer should work pretty well at long ranges. The important thing is to upgrade your armor correctly to take advantage of sniper strategy
i would chose some for cq cuz snipers need something to balance out like the plasma gun aka shot gun @kma what do you mean but machine gun?
so i think im getting auto-rifle and vaporizer, i think ima upgrade very badly haha you should teach me how to upgrade sniper correctly kmac :]
Well the upgrade process is a lot of fun, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it pretty fast The important thing seems to be upgrading the Targeting on the armor (this handles how well the guns auto-aim) and upgrading the Zoom on the guns (this determines how well your scope works). The "Sniper" armor doesn't appear to have much at all to do with actual sniping, but I don't know if it has any benefits, since I haven't used it. Something with cloaking would be nice, I'd imagine.
no i would try and keep it fairly evenly distributed for a stronger player no suit is really better than another the all have specific weaknesses and strengths choose according to a you play style
I did pretty damn good with the Tanker and the Auto-Rifle, but I didn't really have much time to test the others, so I haven't made up my mind at all yet. Also, I have no idea which secondary weapon to use. I'm looking forward to figuring all that out
Can you downgrade your old armor or weapons and get credits returned to you? I am just wondering how easy it will be to experiment with your setup. Blue Attack! had a really nice and flexible upgrade system.
It would seem to take a lot of playtime to get all upgrades on each amd every gun and armor, as well as trying to get to level 50 (although it goes up without spending credits on it) So people who plan to get there asap would either play every 90 minutes of the day or buy energy, which is exactly what ngmoco wants. If there weren't much to upgrade and it would take maybe a few days to upgrade everything then the plan of buying energy would fail. Ngmoco should add more armor and guns in the future to earn even more money. Also I hope the framerate online won't be too bad for my itouch 1g. I'm still worrying about that :-/. I deleted a lot of useless data on it and it seems to help with the framerate in every app so hopefully that's enough.
I think the gravity hook would be essential for a sniper. It may be one of the only ways to get to good vantage points. Either this or REALLY upgrading your jump ability.
According to their twitter, they say they will tell us if ELIMINATE is out ASAP. So ngmoco wont be keeping secrets.
... did you just say... this thread is... dying? Paaaaaathetic. Just because someone doesn't post in an hour, doesn't mean it's dying.
I want this game out so I can have the peace of mind that it is out I am tired of checking every hour
