I don't know if they were trying a stunt with Rolando or not. I really don't think they're delaying these on purpose - it has already been a long time, and the excitement has already peaked. I think they're really eager to see this out.
History lesson amigo! Prior the release of rolando 2, ngmoco announced that they will be pulling out rolando 1 to 'make room' for the sequel. It sounded like the appstore is so crowded with apps they needed to physically remove an app to make room for another like they did with topple 1 which they remove silently to make room for topple 2. There is a very strong backlash even in this very forum that made ngmoco 'rethink' their 'marketing' which was dub as one of the weirdest in the appstore! They are acting weird again this time!
Ahh yes, I understand what you meant now. I thought you were talking about how Rolando 2 appeared a day later than promised. I don't know if that was a stunt or not either. I could imagine them thinking "People are going to see Rolando 2 in the store for 10 dollars and Rolando 1 for 5 dollars, and they're going to just buy the first one for the lower price and not even bother getting the second one". Since Rolando 2 is much better than the first game, people who did this would be missing out. I think this is what they meant when they said they wanted to "make room"

I don't think the intention is as noble! They underestimate the appstore consumers, they wanted all eyes to be on rolando 2 at the expense of turning their back to those that bought rolando 1, taking an app down means the app will never be updated so if the idevices upgrade to a new firmware you are screwed, if you deleted an app without a mac or pc backup you can't re-download it again at the appstore. Do you think ngmoco didn't know of those consequences? They did know it all and yet they tried to do it and was only stopped because many TA warriors back then are capable of logical thinking BUT they could have gotten away with it if no one stood up to them! I never trusted them again since then! Do you think they were ever going to leave Rolando 1 off the App Store forever? They already said when asked about it that they were planning on adding it back again after the excitement for Rolando 2 died down, and they'd update it to include Plus+. Also, there were always plans to add a certain amount of bonus levels to the game, and the only way to update the game to include those bonus levels would be to have the game in the store. The removal was always intended to be temporary. I still consider it a bad decision, but I understand their reasoning behind it, and I realize that it wasn't ever planned to be permanent. As for Eliminate and TPD, I don't really know what pulling Rolando has to do with them. I guess I missed the point you were trying to make, would you care to explain the relevance?
Well i open the thread and everyone was talking about a different game so i think this thread is getting even worst.
upgrade the rilfe maybe for zoom and other thing but there is no dedicated sniper rifle for some reason
