Everybody stop saying when it's going to be releast. So many people have guess and then it doesn't happen and everybody becomes sad .
I'd have noticed myself soon enough, I've been checking their profiles once and a while hoping for this to leak out. A bunch of Plus+ games have leaked this way before
I totally agree. BTW people, just downloaded the Eliminate Fan Pack and noticed there are two icons! Both the white & black one (I like the black one much better personally). Could this lead to the possibility of two different versions? Like Eliminate Pro? (as seen on some Ngmoco developers' Plus+ accounts...)
I love how this is the way we find out there are multiple versions, of course ngmoco wouldn't even mention it when release is supposedly imminent. I'm think that they will hold these games for a while after approval now.
yeah but here's the thing. people were so excited and caught up in the hype, they established in their minds that the game would be coming VERY soon. and i've said it countless times to them, it can take up to a month to be approved, and then its up to ngmoco to decide when to release it. a halloween release does seem likely when you give it rational thought
Where did you get the Eliminate Fan Pack? Is this for members of something? Also what other ngmoco profiles are there on Plus+ ???
This is probably not the way they wanted people to find out, that is for sure! Nobody even knows what the different "Food" points actually do. I think Ngmoco should definitely step in for some damage control right about now... People are just excited. I agree that it gets old hearing people constantly guessing when the game is coming out, but at this point, everybody has access to the same information. If people get their hopes crushed because some guy on the internet thinks the game is going to be approved one day, and it turns out that he is wrong, well then they deserve it
You guys have to realize.....this game is coming out for a while. Probably sometime this month. But Apple AWLAYS ALWAYS takes forever for the games people want the most.....I ****ing hate them
We don't know that. The latest news we have is that the game is still with Apple. Ngmoco hasn't received a rejection notice or anything like that yet, so there is no reason to panic, or to take such a grim view of it. If the game hasn't been rejected, it'll probably be out in a few days. If it has, well then yeah, it might be another month...
What are you most curious about for Eliminate? I think that I am most curious about the suits. Will the "Ariborne" suit make a huge difference in the gameplay? What about the "Exoquatic" suit, are there many levels that have water to make this useful? Will some levels make it so having a specific suit give you a significant advantage? Any thoughts?
Well there aren't many levels at all, just a handful. But yes, there is one level that will give a significant advantage to people with good mobility in water. It is a level with a giant pit in the middle of the room with a bunch of powerups in it. Scattered around the stage are various switches that flood the pit with water. So you can make a run for the powerups, but if you do, someone could flood the chamber with water and leave you a sitting duck...
i hope the water doesnt hurt you. it looks like it would be hard to get out of unless it auto jumps when you reach the ledge
Eliminate: storage space With all of the features in Eliminate such as many weapons, a handful of levels, many skins, many power ups, online play, etc. what will the size of the download be? 1 or 2 GB maybe?
I wouldn't say anywhere near that - not many people have that much space on their ipod. and you need double the space of the app free to download it. i estimate 100MB maybe.
There are a few of them; the ones I can remember off the top of my head are the jet pack, damage modifier, and an invulnerability + instant kill power-ups. The last one is the most fun to me, since it gives you a one-hit-kill melee attack I think they said it would be around 100 megabytes, but I'm not sure. Check the Ngmoshow audio podcast, I think it was mentioned there.
Largest app? in MB? So what is the largest app that any of you have in Megabits (MB)? As an example, Rolando 2 is 56.6 MB in size. Wouldn't Eliminate be at least double in size? So I guess that Fudgeboy would be right on the money.
