I remember when this thread had like, 2000 posts. Then one fateful day, we all figure out that ELIMINATE will be free. The posts when from 2000, to 3000 in less than a day! Its now at 4000!! EDIT: My bad, ITS NOW AT 5000 posts!!!
People who are telling people to calm down can't just be told to go post somewhere else. We want order, not chaos towards apple and ngmoco. It's really annoying (for me at least). Although things could get out of hand once page 666 comes >_>
They wanted to piggyback on Apple's announcement, so that Eliminate would get coverage on all of the news outlets that reported on Apple's policy change. Smart move if you ask me.
D*mn. MMOs are the stupidest thing ever. Multiple versions of one app? ARE YOU SERIOUS? All those things where you download the apps to get extra "credits" and stuff just feel so spamy. Horrible move Ngmoco, I am so disappointed. None-the-less, I am prepared to purchase whatever the most premium/expensive version of TP: D available is because I have been waiting on this game for so long and do not want to miss out on anything. But if I buy the best version of it, and DLC purchases are still required to get the full experience, I will be P*SSED!
Well, they still haven't commented on it one way or another. We have no idea what the points in the different versions actually go to. In fact, I'm reasonably sure that they really didn't want us finding out about the multiple versions at this time, and that the info was leaked accidentally.
Be that as it may, it has leaked and we are aware. Ngmoco is only a team of about 25 people (or so I've heard), so it is probably hard for them to make sure ALL of the loose ends are tied...
Well they have 35 or so employees I believe, but you're right, it must be hard for them to make sure everything is tied up. Hopefully when someone from Ngmoco reads this, they'll jump in and clear everything up for us.
You're correct kmacleod, i am sure they didn't want us finding our about this stuff at this time, and i am guessing that is why we haven't seen Allen lately .. well My hopes are on Tuesday, I have a good feeling about it. Well I checked Allen's profile, and it shows that he hasn't been online until well before this news was leaked. I'm guessing that they either don't know that the info was leaked, or haven't figured out exactly how to respond yet. I'm still guessing that it'll be out before Tuesday. There is still a good chance it'll appear this weekend. Lets hope so Yeah, so it would be nice if people would stop contributing to that fact. They made a spam thread for a reason; lets try to keep all off topic posts in it.
You technically just spammed because you are talking about spam. Seriously people STOP. JUST STOP. Continue to talk on topic and worry about yourself. Report someone if they are repetitively spamming but otherwise please don't interrupt a currently on-topic conversation to reply to another previous spam post...because that is spamming.
