Guys, sorry for going off-topic here but... Regarding the Plus+ versions of games like Dr. Awesome, Topple 2, etc, what are the people that bought the original versions supposed to do? Will ngmoco be releasing Plus+ updates to the original apps or are we supposed to DL the new ones?

Yeah I've been having the same feeling about this too. This game might be nice but actually I don't see any connection to ngmocos games in there. Isn't it something like pokemon? I've looked at this but there's absolutely no action. why don't they pass the time by playing eliminate
Lol Exactly. They are the developers, so they don't have to use anything to help pass the time...they can play their own games anytime they want with or without Apple's approval. So I think Epic Pet Wars is paying Ngmoco for some publicity or something...
It is garbage; it is basically a poorly made version of the Pokemon combat system with all of the story and RPG elements cut out. The whole thing screams cheapness, which is why I'm surprised Ngmoco keeps pimping it out. It doesn't have Plus+, it isn't made by Ngmoco or any of their affiliates - seems like someone must be paying them a lot of money to shill that game. Anyways, this is getting off topic. If they want to pass the time waiting for Eliminate by playing Pet Wars, more power to them. I'll pass it by playing anything else
I'll pass time by playing Marble Blast, it has a similar control scheme to Eliminate. But, yeah. BOT.
Yeah they have to make money to pay their bills. It's hard nowadays since most if their games are now free as plus+ versions. Eliminate and Touch Pets will generate some nice income again but who knows when they get approved. It can be anything from in an hour to in a year.
I'm not blaming them, I'm merely expressing my irritating at seeing that POS game force-fed to me whenever I launch an Ngmoco game or read their Twitter. They need money, and I can't blame them for exploring new ways of getting it. But still, shilling a competitor's game on their corporate twitter seems like an unfortunate step to take. I hope the company is doing well, because this has me worried. It won't be a year. If Apple rejects the game, they can fix it and resubmit it within a few weeks. At most, we might have a month. I'm guessing it'll be a day or two, though
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Maybe we don't get the game and it really is ssoooooo awesome. But just the screenshots alone look so boring. Now is the right time for eliminate to come out.
I have epic pet wars and it is FUN!! Real time combat. No just pressing a button to see if you win or lose...
While I'm waiting for this, I'm gonna go out and watch Saw VI! I'm soo pumped! lol.. This better be out when I'm back..
I don't get why you guys keep saying this was rejected. It obviously isn't, or wasn't. It's just taking some time for Apple to approve it. Chill out and go do something besides sitting in front of your computer all day waiting for this game. Go out and play a sport. After you're done, come back, check for a minute, then go on with your life. Life isn't all about Eliminate.
