There's no way to tell that. Maybe one app gets lucky and catches the attention of one of the testers and then they approve it. If that's even how the approval system works. xD I wonder if they get to choose whichever app they want or do they have to go by submission date.... Also, what if it was some big name game? Then they'd want to test it fast to see if the hype is true and see how well it plays. They're only human you know.
I think much of the impatience is caused by the fact that there are probably over 100 people checking back on this thread daily, and so the flame is fueled by the collective fire . In essence, we all see these updates and someone says "Man, I can't wait for this game!" Then the comments get gradually more extreme until people are practically raging at their computers in frustration. Just my two cents, but I'm off to get more work done. Refreshing forums, twitter, and the Canadian iTunes store every 15 minutes to see if there are any new updates is a remarkably ineffective method of getting a 5 page Spanish paper done
Haha Hodapp. You make a good point but you forget that this is just with everyone on this forum. This forum and its members have a huge impact. The members create the hype and excitement and so the members here and other forums are the only ones this hyped for it that you will ever see. Most other console games don't have forums that get this big and much attention. I know I never went and posted on a console or its games before so there's much less hype since there's people here who are hyped also and it gets you hyped as well. I remember I only paid Eliminate, then known as LiveFire and Killtest, a little amount of attention. Nowhere near as much as I do now. And that's because I read the posts here and started posting myself. Perhaps you should go look at a well-known and popular console forum and see if their as hyped?
So truthful. I've been waiting for Forza 3 for 2 and a half years and it comes out Tuesday, I'm pretty psyched. Waiting a couple weeks is hardly anything at all.

I've been visiting ELIMINATES website for a couple hundred times now...I'm feeling like they need to update the design since looks kinda old now
@Hodapp Did you actually had ELIMINATE on your 3GS or did you play it on one of their test devices? How did the performance feel? Are the controls comparable to iFPS? Since you did quite well, I'm wondering how precise aiming and running is? Thanks!
Played on a 3rd generation iPod Touch, and everything was awesome. I didn't like iFPS much. When you start playing Eliminate it will take a few matches before you figure out what sensitivity you like with the controls, but after that it seemed to control just as well as you would expect.
