It would be awsome if you could buy your own skins for your weapon , reminds me of Counter Strike: Source... But you get skins free
The Needle Gun doesn't necessarily need to function like an Auto-Rifle, although for now, Reskins are probably better.
Ok enough already this thread is now getting too far off topic. Open a thread in the lounge. Anyone that continues talking about each other and not the game will be put in time-out. Dave
Thank God you're finally here. ANYWAYS I hope the rocket launcher doesn't get abused online. Who would want to get spammed by rockets >_>
So, does anyone know if voice chat is gonna be in the game? I remember before at the 3.0 press conference that they mentioned that; correct me if I'm wrong.
That's actually interesting. In most games a rocket launcher is kinda hard to come by, but in this game you can always have one on you. I would hope that it is very balanced, as I am sure many people would start to use it religiously if it weren't.
The app hasn't been approved yet and no voice chat. Text chat however could be in the game when it is released.
Exactly, and since you have infinite ammo AND you are able to upgrade the rate of fire, the rocket launcher would be a very cheap weapon. Let's hope it doesn't end up that bad.
It was eliminated because it would would increase the rating of the game to 17+, take up too much bandwidth (correct term?), and it would just be annoying in public game random matches. Also, there isn't much reason for it due to the style of play (4 player free for all).
Yea it would be annoying anyways to hear little kids screaming when you kill them and older kids cussing you out. The app would suck then.
Yes that would suck! I remember playing halo 1 and what turns me off are high pitched voices calling me a noob after putting a bullet in their faces... good times!
Yes it does. "Neil: Eliminate still with Apple - once approved we'll go live in Canada first for final systems check before global launch v.soon after."
kmacleod told me that there will be a matching mode and a friend mode where you can invite your friends (no clue if it goes up to 4 player in friend mode though, it should) And it's only logical that both modes will work on wifi and 3G
