I really hate people that get pissed with "too many posts." If you don't like it IGNORE IT. Some people enjoy talking about the game and ngmoco and their anticipation for Eliminate. It's not a big deal. It won't make it faster, but it's fun to talk about the game!
No weapons changes are allowed, but you do get to chose two weapons to enter a match with. There technically aren't any "classes" in a TF2 or CS sense. The closest thing is your armor, and that is set before the match. It was probably submitted around Wednesday. It doesn't take too long to verify that everything was submitted alright. Talking about the game is great! Talking about the other stuff doesn't belong here.
Isn't it fun knowing Eliminate will be approved any minute to 3-5 days from now? (Assuming it doesn't get rejected but after seeing some dumb apps out I think it's a good chance it will be approved)
First, I'm not pissed - just felt the urge to comment on this trainwreck of a thread. Second, it's difficult to simply ignore 300 pages of, "hey is itout", "oh lol I tauwt it was out", "imma stay up alnight see if it comes out", and endless variations of "hay apple approve it". Even a lengthy digression about how to register for the Canadian app store. I read these threads to learn about games I'm interested in, Eliminate being one of them. I would be thrilled if people were actually discussing the game and content, not indefinitely spazing about the unknown release date. As it stands you'd have to be mad to sift through the last few days of posts to actually learn anything about this game. Still, I'm sympathetic that:
I wonder if they are going to use the same protocol for TP: D and release that in Canada first as well. I'm hoping that TP: D can hold me over til I'm fraggin unsuspecting people from behind
Overall, there hasn't been much to talk about at all with the exceptions being: -the posting of details on ngmoco's site -toucharcade's video demo and info -when it was submitted and that it's free If you are looking for any more info, don't bother. It'll be released when it's released and you'll definately know. Just take the thread for what it is: People being very excited. If you want just check the last page of the thread a once or twice a day to see if it's been released.
How silly of me to not believe them especially nowadays with all these companies and everything saying one thing and doing another. Not saying that ngmoco will but still. It still has to be tested in Canada so technically, that's holding for the rest of the world.
Just checking, I wasn't the only one to make the connection between the Canada testing and this picture that ngmoco put in their website (but not on it yet)
Yep, it's been brought up before. I agree, probably what the IMG they will use when it releases on the Canadian store.
