Apple can always reject Eliminate... Then it will take 2 weeks more.

Open Feint is owned by a company called Aurora Feint. Plus+ is indeed owned by ngmoco. Chillingo announced their own platform called Crystal, but it is starting to look more and more like that platform is just vaporware.

That is absolutely possible, and I'm actually amazed that people seem to be forgetting that. Many apps get rejected the first time around, and it is very possible Eliminate will be as well.

Does anyone know if you can purchase DLC guns? I think I remember seeing something about buying a rocket launcher type of gun, but I'm not so sure.

I think if they do DLC guns, it might be a little bit unfair for people that can't buy things, but oh well.

Buying a rocket launcher was an example of DLC shown at the 3.0 conference. it is not in the game. There may be new weapons eventually, and they could possibly be DLC.

    Glad I could help! :)

That was just an example, there will absolutely not be any sort of DLC that unbalances the game. As of this point, the only thing you buy is extra energy.

In the future, I could see them launching extra levels or weapons as DLC, but it would make sense that the people who purchase this stuff would only be matched up with other people who have it.

No, there isn't any reason to assume that. Rejection time can take just as long as acceptance time.

I think there is definitely a greater chance of it being accepted than rejected, but we definitely can't assume everything will turn out alright.

I'm not thinking positively as much as I'm thinking realistically - most apps do get accepted the first time, after all ;)

Cool, I'll look forward to playing you online once it is out!
