ummm wouldnt that divert the games focus a little, u r supposed to be a bad a** killer, getting lots of money, u think he would stop the race cars? >:l

 

You aren't supposed to be a bad ass killer, you're just supposed to pay $50,000 every week any way possible, including racing. I remember earlier in the thread Paul said you could even deliver pizzas for money. This way you could race for money too. So no it wouldn't divert the focus. Plus, after you pay your debt off it'd be fun to race.

this has probably already been answered but what happens if i dont play for a week and dont pay off the 50K that week? What happens?

 

What happens if the cops kill you or you get busted?

 

I assume the game just ends and you'll have to restart.

Probably if you get busted you'll respawn at the Police HQ, and if you get killed you'll end up at the hospital. Not sure what happens money-wise or what the penalties are.

 

Do you mean like a not such a big deal game over like payback where its pretty much the same, or something huge like you gotta start all over?

 

That'd be fun. Hopefully Apple approves it soon though. I bet next week at the earliest. I hope wrong though.

Paul, how do you feel about the recent news regarding EA's NFS submission to Apple for review? Apparently Apple cuts big name devs to the front of the line for the review process, so you're looking at a near-simultaneous release, if not a later one.
