By the way, for those of you that didn't actually follow news of this game early on, Paul said that his pricing model would "reward early adopters. Unlike [his] competitors." I will hold him to that.
I'm waiting on this AND Chinatown Wars (now ) You can't compare a DS game to an iPhone game (But CJS will definatly blow us out of the water)

surly they will realize that this is a very big title and will be wanting to jump on the money band wagon as soon as possible. so im still hoping for a quick release ^^ come on apple, be greedy, we have moneys for ya!
The release mostly is pretty much a few hours after approval. It's the approval that's erratic. When I read at the GDC conference that Apple was patting itself on the back for "speedy approvals" I laughed so hard.
This makes me sad, hopefully Paul has gotten everything prepped so that he just needs to give the marketing "green light" when it gets approved and they release it instead of having to wait for days to get the marketing set up.
to be honest, i don't care if they don't realease because they're waiting for a banner 'one of the hottest apps right now' or whatever they're hoping apple will do.. i'm pretty confident with payback and after taking a look at the preview screenshot, for me it looks way too much comic style. i want to drive with real cars and not some goofy clownscar with some strange bell.. so i'll probably pass here..
You realize when you say you wanna drive a "real car" your talking about a pixely box That's why I like the looks of this game so much, it's not a poor rendition of a 3D world

To each his own, I personally like the comic stylized graphics. If I want realism, I'll boot up GTA IV on my 360 or pop in FarCry 2 on my PS3. This is an iPhone game that I'll use to pass the time while waiting for the wife to do her shopping.
