I love(d) the television show, and the minute i heard M. Night was attached I let out a big "O' **** NO!" *Cuss storm then began*
Yeah, if you absolutely have to watch it see it in 2D and matinée if available in your area. 3D is horrendous since it was added in post production much like Alice in Wonderland. The amount of mistakes and just bad film making decisions (and putrid acting) I saw on screen amazed me. If you have never seen it, do yourself a HUGE favor and check out the animated series that the movie is based off of as it is more intelligent, fun, and coherent.
Once I saw M. Night was gonna direct it, I was thinking, "either this'll keep him afloat, or be the final nail in the coffin." My predictions were correct when I saw it got a 9% on the Tomatometer. Buh-Bye. Sad thing is, he ripped the premise for The 6th Sense off some Nickelodeon show in the '80s (or '90s, not totally sure).
It's completely true; It was Season 2, Episode 36; Name of the episode was "The Tale of the Dream Girl".
was it really that bad? my family enjoys the tv series espicially my dad(seems weird but its a cool show) nd we were going to go see it. nd wHAT makes it so bad?
Yes, exactly like those. They sucked, audiences stayed away in droves, and he so totally lost his cred at Disney that they refused to make "Lady In The Water."
Crazy, I thought Signs was one of the scariest alien movies I've seen, next to fire in the sky... I haven't got the balls to watch 4th kind yet... I'm terrified of aliens...
Well 2012, I don't know, I think we'll kill ourselves before the planets line up and do it for us.. On a similar topic you should be more afraid of the Space nazis... I can't wait for this movie to come out!!!
Fine, Signs was pretty good, but the entire time, the plot felt flimsy. Aliens travel who knows how far with sophisticated technology, plant all these crop circles, but couldn't hold their own against a little water? The Village only got attention because of his last two hits, but got bad critical reviews. The Happening wasn't as lucky.
It's 100% real!!! They are working on getting more people to support it, so they can have a theatrical release... Currently the money they have seems to be only enough for a DVD release, but the more support they get the better chance we have of seeing it in theaters... Become a fan on FB - http://ironsky.net/
