Which limb would you be willing to lose? I'd go with the right leg.

As long as I still have my most important apendage and a large PAX(insurance) payout I wouldn't mind, even if I can't walk I can still go to Amsterdam and pay a hooker to do a midget or something.

    If I ever lost a leg I'd have a wooden peg-leg fitted :D
Either that or a robotic leg with super human strength.

He hates freedom because he voluntarily enlisted to fight for the illusion of freedom you have?

    Say again?

Your going to have to explain that one to me.

Other than the rifle ownership point, what has this thread got to do with a job I've left, I've also been a mechanic, a barman, an operator for British telecom and ran 2 businesses.

You don't even know what I did in the Army, for all you know I could have been a medic or a padre.

    He hates freedom?
If you read his first post, you'd see that he hates political correctness which takes away freedom.

On a whole I think it's alright for a man to cry in private as long as it isn't to often. However being over emotional and blubbering in public is ridiculas. stiff upper lip people!

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation but I think it would be worth it.

Yeah, genuinely crying for a good reason is alright, but I hate it when you get those attention whores who cry just so people give them attention. Or for a stupid reason. I remember when I worked in a restaurant and there was this lady who burst out crying because she said it was too noisy. WTF? If it's too noisy, don't sit down, get the f*ck out.

I apreciate the sentiment mate but that's not what bothers me, he hates squaddies, I get it.

My problem is whenever it's mentioned in my life, to women, on a CV or in general conversation it has to become an issue, I'm not going to hide it or be afraid to mention it because I'm proud of it, but for most of my adult life I've been a civvy.

Some people need to grow the f%#k up and realise it's a job like any other , a good way to earn £16k a year with no qauls.

And it has sod all to do with this thread.

Edit- Oops sorry LBG, replied to the wrong comment, having a bad spaz day.

I tried to join the Marines like 2 years ago, but they wouldn't take me cause of my tattoos.

Then I asked myself "What the **** were you thinking?". Personally I am glad I didn't join the military. It changes people, and not always for the good personality-wise (no offense to military or ex-military personnel). I have friend who joined and came back comepltely f*cked up cause of the god damn BS Iraq war.

Now I am fine making next to nothing in my desk job as a data-entry tech. At least I am sane :D

Edit: This post had nothing to do with anything really... so I don't know why I even said it.

They're strange with tats, they say none on the neck or below the forearm , I had a mate with a spider web on his neck, a tear on his face, and writing on his knuckles and he got in (as mobilised TA).

    Acceptable Crying.

    1) As mentioned earlier, the old foreskin vs fly/zipper scenario.

    2) World cup semi-final penalty shootout loss. But only if you're playing and you're a fat far northerner who buys beer and chicken for shotgun weilding bouncers.

3)A loyal dog gets killed trying to save it's owner.

4)Your wife or girlfriend falls over and hurts herself, in which case you are permitted tears of laughter.
