    Hi!

We’re the developers of the upcoming mobile game Oddmar.

As you know, the mobile game market can be tricky to traverse for developers. Free-to-play games are clearly making most of the money. As developers, we’ve had problems with that monetization model because of the significant constraints it puts on game design.

We’re interested to know your thoughts about the future of mobile gaming, and if there is a place for premium games?

Thanks for your support, we hope you will like the game.

Let us know if you have any questions!

This game looks great. I think there is always room open for premium games in the mobile market. But it would be nice to try not only the mobile market, but also other markets. I wish you a successful release of your game.

Been playing the beta for a while now. I can honestly say it looks and plays wonderfully. I been playing on iPhone 8 Plus. Just got an ipad pro, downloaded beta and bam had all my progress! Glad to see that added and can’t wait to spend my money on such a charming game. :)

I've just seen the video at TA's frontdoor...wow, this seems to my platformer. I loved Leo's Fortune and i will be willing to pay whatever price tag you put on it...or you make it f2p with an unlock of the full game? Just no energy BS, please.

Keep up your incredible good work, folks!
Greetings from a day one buyer

Looks brilliant, instant pickup for me

Looks like a traditional platformer (e.g you can go left !) which is great news.

Cant wait to buy this. Leos Fortune was one of my favourite platformers on iOS

I hate to be that guy, but... is Android version planned?

I've always supported premium games, because f2p model always affect gameplay in one way or another.

Right now we are ultra focused on the iOS launch :).

That's great, thanks for supporting our games! Yes it does compromise the design space.

There will be 24 levels. The difficulty level is definitely on the challenging end.

Can you tell us how the controls will work? I hate it if I have to touch first and then slide a little bit to the left/right to make the character move.

Better are big touch buttons and they should work directly on the first touch without having to move the finger.

Just posting here to say that Leo's Fortune has been a huge inspiration for us. I loved it. Can't remember how many times I spoke about it to my team, as a reference. I'll definitely play Oddmar the second it comes out !

We're currently releasing a paid game (Golem Rage), and I hope there is still a good place for good paid games out there (to answer your original question). Damn, that non finishable freemium stuff has to come to an end, we want the old gameplays back :)

I had no idea you guys were indies posting here ! :D Keep up the excellent work, you're a model.

There are two different control schemes. One touch control scheme (default one) where you move left/right by swiping on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen you attack by tapping, jump by swiping up and perform a shield slam by swiping down. We also have on-screen controls for those who prefer those.

Regarding release dates: New announcements to come this week!

Zuke - Glad to hear that Leo's Fortune inspired you!
