The "release it already" folks will shriek in rage if promises aren't met or the game doesn't live up to the hype if it's released early. They will buy it anyway if it takes awhile.
No news could be good news - it seems the devs have been and continue to be hard at work. Too busy to post anything on the TA forums or their blog.

The team is hard at work and barely has time to post any updates. But we're happy to say the world is shaping up very well. We have more news soon and these news are going to be big!

I don't think that's it..I think it pertains to the game itself..Maybe the world got bigger or the mechanics were buffed..If a release date is imminent,won't they say expect some great news soon rather than big news? Anyway that's what I think..I could be wrong though but the choice of words they announced is descriptive in nature..

Reminds me of some of the heart warming , exiting , loving , adventurous DSi games I used to play !!! Hope it gives you that feel you get when you play zelda and pokemon games !!!
My educated guess: GREE and mobage have joined in on the fun to release 'Oceanhorn' as the greatest freemium social card-collecting city-building strategy game EVER! But honestly devs, I can't wait much longer for this one. I hope to play this before 'A Link Between Worlds'.
