Hahah, nice comparison video! - there's still more assets that has been changed! - have to play further than the beginning to see them all though.

Sky Island. Go to the Grand Core. When inside, jump over the bridge, head down the ladder. Go into the room to the first right and you'll see a spiked ball enemy that can be blown up.

I agree the old icon was much more appealing.

Loving the update so far ! - Although I'm going to restart so I can experience the new look and graphical update on the game - also replay this masterpiece.

On a side note can you ( the developers ) change the icon in an upcoming update - make a whole new one or just bring back the old one orrr bring back the old one but add the gold border aroung it

Edit- Is the graphical update also on iPad 3 ? havent started the game yet gonna play it tomorrow.

 

How many crystal skulls are to be found??

 

Where's the new content? I'm now at 86 percent but don't see the new stuff

there are 10 crystal skulls
one of those I thought was so difficult but it turned out to be pretty easy

Where's the best spot to go fishing? And how do I unlock the new island?

 

You get the Fishing Rod from Meeto in Tikarel, after completing the "Fireworks".

You can get to new island after Sky Island: Go to Tikarel and talk to the Sky Island scholar near the harbor.

You can fish anywhere, but there are different fish living in different islands and in each island, you can find better or worse fishing spots. We built the system so that even we don't have detailed information where the best fishing spots are- if you find them - report them here!

Is the scholar the one who talks about the 'old book' because I searched all around Tikarel and the town on Sky Island but I didn't find anything.

There is something I did find on Sky Island saying 'Face the knight of old and remember to light up the torches still cold' is that something to do with Gillfolks Drop?

 

Hey fox can you tell me why the game lowers brightness of my 5s after around 15-20 minutes of gameplay automatically.Also there's no other way for me to turn it up again,I have auto brightness turned off in my settings.The game also starts lagging heavily after that.

P.S I absolutely ove the new update,I wouldn't mind paying for it actually.Keep up with it,Give me more quality content and take my money.I love how the game has no iaps whatsoever,If it means more money for the update do it.I will gladly pay for ir as long as it is worth it.I haven't tried fishing yet but it seems like a cool mechanic to try out.One suggestion I can give is to spice up naval combat in the next update since it's too basic and becomes repetitive or either remove it totally.

Also please add higher resolution shadows in the next update currently they look very jaggy.60fps and anti aliasing is beautiful to behold though.

I suggest looking closely around those houses on Tikarel island.The book is near or on the roof of some of those houses.

 

Thanks for the encouraging feedback! I found out about the brightness thing myself as well when playing on my iPhone 5 - also that this release version makes my phone very hot. We will look into these and prepare a maintenance update some time in the future.
