Have the same feeling here. I played for a few hours (freed some prisoners on an island), but the combats are a pain, the gameplay is dull, and I never came back once I stopped playing. I tried, because I so much want a Zelda on my iPad, but this is not this game...
This game has kept me well entertained as I wait for Across Age 2 to make its debut. I adored the original Across Age, and played it through completion several times (despite my hating the "boob-Professor"). Oceanhorn hits all those same buttons for me, thankfully without the unnecessary boob-Professor creepy vibe, and does it in much richer graphical detail. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for me. I can understand that if you were used to even more richness, in any aspect of its game play, that you might find it lacking. Fortunately, for me, I thought it worthy of the play-through and the price.
Help - Stuck in Sky Island I'm stuck on this level as I went through the level and was able to get the stone gate down but I accidently shot it twice and was able to get over the stone gate while it was up. The problem this created is when I tried to get back to the cave I couldn't find away to get around the stone gate and the target you shoot is not accessible from this position. I'm sure there is a workaround but I can't find it. Let me know if someone knows how to get around this.
I was wondering, would it in fact be possible that we now need to collect 55 bloodstones and not 54? I have 100% on all islands except on Withered Lands and am only missing two achievements: the Crimson Collector and the Highest exp. rate one. I have 54 bloodstones and I've done a rerun for over 20 times now on the dessert island but can't seem to find the missing 9% element. I especially fixated on this point on the map but to no avail. It looks like an area you could get into but it seems to be impossible. I tried to look at other secret ledges and tried everything I could think off. Am I the only one with this fixation or is there in fact a way to get inside this hole or one of the others? With those crazy purple plants and wooden platforms inside it really peeks my looking-for-secret-areas-radar....
it will appear to be some kind of bug in Tikarel because I cant get up the stairs where Netti's garden is, so I cant push the wooden crate down the cliff to reach the treasure. I was able to do it at the very beginning of the game, but now that I'm at 89% completion of the whole game, it wont let me. Anyone have this issue? I can't get pass the red line
I know this is pretty old but I'm just curious , Spoiler What does the rank of Archmage meant? I heard that the games main antagonist was a Candidate for Archmage and u get that rank later in the game too. So what is the story behind it?
I do have this issue, I mentioned it a few days ago. The area you highlighted is also unaccessible to me and if I want to go around the box in the front I immediatelly fall off the cliffs and I am hanging in the air. As you said, I did push the box once in the beginning of the game not knowing how to do it right and I haven't been able to re-do it ever since. It must be a bug, hopefully they'll fix it with an update soon. Very annoying.
haha cool, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I read your post about "resetting the game" and I agree with you. I don't want to lose my achievements neither. It took too long for me to get it I'm at 92% overall and just need this damn chest in Tikarel and I think 2 bloodstones in Withered Lands to get 100% on all islands before moving to Acadia Ruins
If I really want to start over because of this bug in Tikarel, I'll do it for you. On another note, does anyone here have 100% of withered lands tell me how the hell they got it? I've gotten every treasure on that island, but I think I'm missing some bloodstones because I'm only at 91%. I've literally walked every inch of the island and bombed every single wall that I think could hide a bloodstone with no success. This is getting frustrating.
Are all the islands supposed to only go to 100%? Some are not at 100% and some are still over 100%. Is this a bug and will it be fixed in the next update? Is there a bug update coming soon and when? Thanks
How many bloodstones are there? I have 100% on all islands. 50 bloodstones and game is 97%. I did not get crimson collector achievement
100% Sky Island So it took me a few rounds to figure this one out. Inside the Grand Core You go to the left and you get to a room where you have to position blocks on certain tiles. In this room there is a wall. It doesn't look like you can, but you can blow it up and there will be two chests in the next room. This should get you 100% on Sky Island if you have all the other chests and bloodstones. Hope this helps.
Actually not at 100%. I can't get 100 on grand forest. Stuck at 91 percent. Think I've been everywhere and can't see anymore chests or bloodstones
Stuck In bomb island -cave there is a blood stone and a chest. I got the bloodstone but to get the chest you have to cross a bridge. Well the bridge collapsed and I didn't run across so now I can't find a way to get the chest. Any idea of this is a bug? Or perhaps there is a power such as a jump ability I get later?
Can I ask you how you got 100% on withered islands? I got all treasures but I believe I'm missing some bloodstones and stuck at 91% Do you remember where you found them?
Losing ranks So just set off the fireworks on tick real island and I ranked up twice(once for the quest that completes after setting the fireworks off and another for "spellbinder") I had to quick exit the app and when I went back in I had gone back down 2 ranks, is this a glitch? Is there a way to fix it?
Also stuck at 91% on withered islands With Maharet and 6thday I'm also stuck at 91% on withered islands and think I've been everywhere. Maharet, I agree the spot looks promising but can't get i there either. Help, please, thanks!
not only that, but the stupid bug in Tikarel is preventing me from getting the last treasure down the cliff and getting 100% on Tikarel.
