If you don't like exploring games then you sure picked a doozy. There is a lot of exploring. You need to listen to the NPC's and the signs. Islands open up through what NPC's say and when you find bottles with letters in them on the beach. And when an island appears you just go to it and explore trying to find all the chests. The story reveals itself along the way as you visit island through a handful of cutscenes and audio commentary from NPC's. When you are lost just go to the ocean and see what island isn't 100% complete. It's fun if you enjoy that sort of thing, which I do.
Spoiler I'd be more inclined to invoke Landstalker as a valid point of comparison since both that and Oceanhorn are isometric in perspective rather than top-down.
Never played that, so I can't speak to how it might compare Gameplay wise I think Zelda is still an apt comparison.

So you have a higher than 91% on Graveyard Island? I am perfectly aware of what the minimap says, it just seems no one else (but you, apparently) has been able to find said ladder.
I looked, and I'm actually at 91% on Graveyard Island also. However, I totally do have 100& of Sky Island done, and I have NO idea what I did to get that extra 4% everyone is missing.
Yeah, going to chalk it up to the game being bugged... gonna preserve my sanity and wait until the update is released before I do anymore hunting
I'm at that same point. No more hunting until the update. I'm think I'm missing one Bloodstone (I have 49), so I haven't gotten the Crimson Collector achievement. I'm sitting at 52 out of 53 achievements, and I figure the last Bloodstone has to be one of the islands I have less than 100% on. Anybody on the board actually have the Crimson Collector achievement?
I have 95% on Graveyard Island. I was wrong about that chest. I went back and spent a good half hour in there and the ladder does go down to a chest, just not that one. One of the two chests in that screenshot has a blue arrow. The blue arrow denotes an entrance. So one is accessible from within that ground level (no blue arrow) and the other is accessible from another area (blue arrow). Don't know how to get to them. For whatever reason, I have 95% completion on this island.
I'm at the same point as you. Missing one bloodstone. 52 of 53 achievements. It's driving me nuts! What is your total game percentage completed from the settings panel?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. In sky island, grand core, warehouse sector, does anyone know how to get to the other side of this block?
If your referring to Spoiler the section where you reflect the laser to the lens, I've already done that but haven't located the passage leading to this part for the life of me anywhere past that point.
I'm at 95% too. Where the hell is that missing bloodstone. I bet that we are both missing the same exact one. We are missing the same chests as well.
