Apparently about 6 people so far as they have stated that they don't know how to write a spoiler and even asked mods to edit their comments to "spoiler" them out. That's who.
Hey owners of this app! Should I buy this app? Should I wait for it to go for sale or something? I read excellent reviews and I love the style of the game, but is it frustrating or something like this? Thanks.
So I finished the game and I have to say it was one of the best iOS games I have played and the first one that is nearing console quality in both production and content. (IMHO it's about 1/3 of a regular Zelda game content, but it's still a loot more content then I've seen on any other iOS game.). The controls are really really good for a touch based game and I never felt that I required physical controls to play it. Although I imagine that having physical controls would make some jumping easier.
I can't remember off hand, but try Spoiler bombing walls... there were quite a few on Graveyard Island that you could bomb; nothing obvious that marks where, but I found if there was a wall in your way, bombing worked.
you can try to hard reset your device. hold on/off button + home button for 10 seconds until apple logo appears. it can helps. much smoother performance
Really depends on you - do you like puzzles and exploring? This game does require you to think - some may find it frustating if answers and solutions aren't obvious. And my answer is yes. Yes, you should buy it, the price is perfect for a game like this one as it is now and it will only support the developers.
Anyone know how to get a particular treasure chest on Hermit Island... Spoiler if you jump down the well, you turn south, then east... at the eastern turn, there is a chest on the map to the southwest. I've circled the caved and island trying to find breakable walls or alternative cave entrances, but I can't figure out how to get to it. Ideas?
So, I got to the Showroom in the Grand Core on Sky Island, Spoiler but how is it possible to hit the combination of switches to raise and lower the blocks while jumping across them and all before the timer runs out? I'm completely stumped on this bit.
this one was a bit frustrating as it took me quite a few tries, more so because the touch interface controls are a bit cumbersome and make the precisely timed movements required harder than they need to be Spoiler stand as close to the far right pillars as you can and then hit the moving contraption and quickly (before the mini cinematic animation of the pillars raising/lowering) move onto the pillars so they bring you to the platform with the button hit the button, then i believe you hit the contraption again, get up to the middle platform, and then jump across until you can get to the far left section of the showroom I believe this is the solution, but i might be missing a lever hit somewhere
Did you defeat the boss in the ice temple Spoiler (the king's ghost) ? You can leave the temple without defeating him. Check if you have the second artifact in your inventory. If not, you need to go back. You can also use the Spoiler ice spell if you have it. I think that's mostly people using the app, which doesn't have an edit toolbar. (Best advice for them is to quote a post with spoiler tags to check how to do it if you're unsure.)

Spoiler it is on the platform across from the statue, the furthest point of the dragon's frost breath... find a way to get up on that platform
Spoiler The thing I don't understand - how is it possible to hit the rotating device again after you have jumped part of the way across in order to raise the final two blocks before jumping on to the "bridge." I've tried it so many times now that I'm just about ready to give up in frustration. Unless I'm doing something wrong. I doesn't help that sometimes when I'm just trying to turn the character round to face the direction I want to jump, he falls off and I have to start all over again.
I've spent a LOT of time on Oceanhorn since it came out. It's a great game, and I certainly give it my highest recommendation, but .... I am stuck at 94% completion, and it is driving me crazy. I missing one heart piece (I have 7 3/4) and one Blood stone (I have 49) Also, I cannot find the chests others have observed earlier in this thread, even though they show up on the map: 1) On Hermit Island in the well 2) On Graveyard island in the crypt area 3) In Grand Core dungeon, the two chests you can see but not reach on the other side of a block near some water. So, any help would be appreciated.
I'm at 94% with most of the same above questions. However, in the Grand Core, you just need to bomb the wall between two torches near the two chests you see. It'll fix your heart situation at the same time. Now, how did you get the chest at the front left of the withered island? It's visible after leaving the prisoners home, but you can't fall down to it. I also only have 79% of the great forest done--and I can't see anywhere else to go. Tumor is dead, all chests opened, but I can't seem to find how to get 100%. Thanks for any help.
