I agree that the hero is bland and without personality. However this game is still fantastic, despite that flaw. My other complaint is Spoiler chest items are usually not exciting, and leveling up is generally not very significant. but aside from those things that could be improved I am very satisfied with this game. It looks and plays great.
I explain my criticism in detail because people keep responding to it in ways that make it seem like I wasn't clear enough, and you take that to mean I have an agenda? Fine; my agenda is to provide my opinion, which I feel contrasts a glorified review. Nothing more. My comments count around six now - out of 602 at the time of writing. I have not posted anywhere else because I'm not /that/ invested in this. I do not "not want to like it". Heck, why do you think I bought it? I wanted to like it, but I found it to be a tedious endeavour. However, I'm going to see if I can force myself to go on just to see if it's just the start that is unrefined and unpolished. Judging from all the people stuck in scenery, I'm not tremendously hopeful, however... I would ask that you reflect on your wild accusations; not everyone with a different opinion than you is a shill or a madman, you know.

Retina mini Thinking about upgrading to a Retina Mini, would I get any benefits in Oceanhorn? The hardware is nearly identical and the CPU runs just a tiny bit slower than the iPad Air..

Here is a solution for you! Spoiler You can see this place from the path you came earlier, right? Behind the entrance. Place a bomb there, and it should open up a path to that button!

You know, i get the frustration of being stuck in games, i really do...but reading some of these questions...asking for solutions to puzzles/quests when it seemed to be PAINFULLY obvious to me ....does anyone actually read the dialogue or text in games anymore? The puzzles and quests can be annoying and tedious but taxing on the brain is hardly what i would call them....patience and tenacity seem to be completely absent from a lot of gamers these days...should just start releasing games with the walkthrough bundled, hell make it immediately available Via IAP, and probably sell like hotcakes. The game is kinda meant to be explored, you lose a great deal of the genre when you complete a task and IMMEDIATELY rush to the forum and ask "what next?" Just because you don't have a neatly labeled objective laden map or quest log that points you exactly where you need to be. Yeah yeah, open forum, people can post anything they like, this is just an inane observation...i am guilty of using guides and walkthroughs in plenty of games, but seriously unless you're shooting for 100% completion here, have a little patience! The solutions are right in front of you! If you cant reach an item that is clearly inaccessible currently, make a note of it and return when you have unlocked more spells/items/skills! Have some faith in the game, is all I am saying.
But... Why not? Why are you bothered by what the others want to know? It's a bit weird, it's a forum about the game, i think it's normal to ask for something you're stuck in... I wanted to ask some help, but after reading you i feel guilty.. Until now i played 9 hours, i'm taking my time, i've only completed the first three islands, and i want to search by myself, but sometimes, when i'm really stuck, i prefer to ask rather than stop playing.
He's talking about the NEW mini (which is why he said with retina display) which is more powerful than the 4. I believe you're thinking of the original mini which really IS a waste and outdated on the day of launch. If you really do think the new mini is a waste, it's not. Same internals as the air.
Doesnt bother me, like i said, just an observation. There's being stuck, and then there is being impatient and unwilling to think for yourself. Again, to each their own, I just wonder how people get through life if a simple box pushing puzzle causes their brain to seize.
Ice palace How do I gain entry have both fire and ice spells there is a master key door straight ahead and a rm to the left I seemingly need the jump ability for any help would be appreciated.
