I've got a major issue with Gilfork's Drop. The entire level is magic-heavy, and there are extremely limited magic potion drops. I literally had to exit the dungeon area, climb back to the "town", exit and re-enter the same spot five times in order to fill my magic meter, which is entirely needed to fend off the otherwise-invincible flying flamethrowers AND do the puzzle. My headaches continue for the entire level (I've only just entered the palace section and I'm too frustrated to move forward, because doing so will require me to, again, backtrack all the way to the town in order to fill my magic and do a puzzle that looks like it requires more magic casting than can be done with a full magic meter. This is really ridiculous!

The palace has a ton of magic potions in the jars right in the entrance hall and they rebuild when you leave and enter it.

As for bugs that make you seemingly stuck or seem game breakers please contact either us or cornfox by email (found on the homepages). We can help

I was looking forward to this but cannot support it in Good conscience. it looks way too much like a Zelda rip-off and its release date is suspicious.

Most ridiculous thing I've ever read. It's certainly inspired by Zelda but its a completely different story and really a different art style. But hey, if you feel you will have to go to confession after every session playing, skip it.

The story and art style are actually very unique.

Tons of games have come much closer to truly ripping off Zelda.

A lot of time, effort and love obviously went into this game. It's not some cheap knockoff trying to cash in on a title. You'd know that if you actually played it.

  7. Yeah, I don't think it's all that close. Doesn't even feel the same to me.

Question... Do the checkpoints only work once? Is there any other way to save the game? I leveled up to 'traveler' and touched the checkpoint again but when I went back into the game I was back to vanguard. Do I have to find another checkpoint to have my level save?

    Enjoying the game so far.

Let me clarify - the lack of magic jars is specifically in
    the fire-magic cave
. It'd be fine if I knew exactly where to go and when I can simply avoid the flying guys, but when I'm going back and forth from room-to-room (on accident in numerous cases), you only get two shots of magic before you're out, then you're defenseless. The bunch of jars at the start of the dungeon don't produce any magic supply.

I see what you mean about the palace, though. Once you're inside, you've got ample magic (although I still run out and have to backtrack, because I'm searching for secrets). While it's not game-breaking, you have next to no magic supply at this point, and it stands out when you need it for everything in this stage.

The other bug I mentioned, I have not been back to yet. I'll let you know whether that gets me in trouble later.

I've already passed the park you are talking about, and got the fire spell. However I am stuck in the lower wing of the palace. I have walked over a ice throwing statue and come to a big pool and there is no way to proceed. Am I suppose to have the ability to jump at this point?

Just a reminder, people, please don't post unmasked spoilers in threads (especially for newly-released games). A lot of people come to this forum to learn about the actual games, and it is both unfair and selfish to make them wade through pages of potentially game-ruining "help me" posts to find any info about the game itself.

To mask spoilerific content in your posts, highlight that text and then use the spoiler tags provided in the toolbar situated above the text window when you're posting (the spoiler tag function is located to the far right of the the toolbar, and looks like this: [IMG]).

I can't support this truly amazing game because it reminds me of a game I absolutely loved as a child. I can't play this because it brings me back to a time where I first discovered the true awesomeness of adventure through a game. You guys go ahead and enjoy this amazing quality game. I won't judge.
    /sarcasm

What's wrong with people. This game is awesome and unique. People are absurd these days... Can't play an amazing game because it reminds them of another amazing game. "Zelda"

Anyways... 25% through and loving every moment

I guess I'll just have to start a new game and hope I don't make the same mistake somewhere else, since if assume this won't be a quick fix.

    To the developers

There are over a 20 million iphone 4 users out there. At least give some credit to those users by giving support for oceanhorn playable with iphone 4. And another, please stripped down a little price of the game. $6.99 is reachable enough and most game enthusiast will become " very very very happy".

Thanks. And I hope hear us out!

So, I just want to make sure I understand you.

You want them to do more work optimizing the game for the iPhone4, and then charge even less than they do now?

Is that pretty much what you're saying?

For some reason, the screenshots remind me of that game Lili. :)

    Can't wait for iCloud support!
