Game Impressions I'm disappointed by the performance of this game. I have a 5C and it's not perfectly fluid all the time. I'm sensitive to these things, but I recognize that most people probably aren't. However, one important issue is battery life, and boy does this game suck it up! Real Racing 3 and Oceanhorn are the only two games I have which makes my iPhone noticeably warm to the touch on the rear. I hope they can optimize it to not be such a hot running battery killer in the future. I mean, Wind Waker had very basic graphics, which are now considered timeless. No reason that this game couldn't survive on that too.
Wind Waker was also on a console not on your PHONE. Is this a joke? I'm sure if GameCube had a built in battery you could've played Wind Waker or any other game all day without plugging. Gtfo. And as for performance issues did you do a hard reset after installing the game?
I agree and actually hope that more games use this function. The best part of having multiole iDevices is being able to go seamlessly back and forth from my iPhone 5 and iPad! Most business and productivity apps do this and am surprised game developers haven't stepped up to realizing how good it would be to offer seamless transition from iPhone to iPad and iPad to iPhone. Seems like a conceptual no brainer to me...?
Now #9 in the US Store top paid category, #73 top grossing. I think drawing on Zelda for inspiration is a blessing and a curse: obviously it's a game formula that works well (and I LOVE) and people say, "It's like Zelda!", but then your game gets knocks because this or that is not on par with Nintendo's series . . . Either way, this game is great!
It's a near console game on a portable device, it's probably to be expected it will take alot of battery power.
You could always buy it and read the credits! (Sorry - can't answer myself. I'll be picking it up later.)
Hmmmmm. Not sure if this is my kind of game. Watched the video but it seems very repetitive. The graphics look good but didn't get to see much about the story and how it all unfolds. A good story might sway me but all I saw in the review was fighting and pushing blocks and not much else. Very mundane stuff. I'll keep it in mind but wasn't impressed by the gameplay.
Ok I need help.I am in Tikarel, the second island.I can't unlock the gate or get in the cave and I think I need to get the crate but I have no idea how to reach it.
I hope this helps: Spoiler Near the Direfolk camp, there is rising blocks with sign "Operate these from guard tower". Open blocks and you are on path to Rigger's place.
Spoiler Yes i have seen this sign but i have not found yet the guard tower. Maybe i miss something obvious, i ll give one more try. Thanks for helping! And yes... i was blind... I find it!
A beautiful magical game but the asking price seems way to low for the quality being offered here, for everyone that likes this game try and post a review on the appstore the guys behind this game deserve some real credit.
You get new island locations revealed in Tikarel, how about hopping into your boat and do some exploring ?
@Fox-One-1 @Future777 and the rest of your team, awesome job with this game. #7 Top Paid app in US app store already!
Fox-One-1 and Future777, could you please address the availability of iCloud support for save-games? The question was asked early on, and I seconded it, and I assume based on the various comments made by players much later that this game does not have iCloud enabled so you can't play across various devices. However, given that it's a universal app, is that something you plan to implement in the future?
#5 in paid apps in Spain. #17 top grossing. Congrats! (I'm pretty sure they know how well it's going, but I had to tell it).
It's being considered for an update. As for the initial release all effort was put into stability, smoothness and overall gameplay experience. Thank you so much! We are very happy about the overwhelming and heartwarming support from the community. You're the best!
