so i was at the first town. i was exploring, and found that when i pushed the stone block off of that walkway, so that it fell onto that beach area, that i could swim across to get to behind the big locked door. its a dead end, you get to do a little extra exploring, but no items or anything.
This is exactly what happened to me!! Now I can't swim back I'm stuck I'm just a little short of being able to swim back. Guess if I restart the app I will be brought back hopefully. Edit: nope I'm stuck...guess I have to start from the beginning
Developers really can't win on this. The poor developers of Ooga Jump had people whining about spending 99¢ for a game that was 300mb because it was too big. *sigh*
Hi Italodance. We had a moment there during the development where we needed to think, do we want to keep the IPA large, where it portrays the scale of the game better - or should we try to make the file size smaller. With my experience, I have never too much extra space on my iOS devices. We decided to optimize the file size. With a lot of hard work, we were able to cut the size of the installation very significantly. I hope you don't pass on this adventure just because of this, because I see no down sides on small file size!
13.5 is not for everyone. TA must be very familiar with Zelda to have accomplished that. For me, the last time of Zelda was on gbc! God knows how many years has passed!
If you get permanently stuck, which shouldn't happen often. Kill the application from multi-tasking menu and then restart. Then hero automatically spawns to last door, ladder or checkpoint you used.
Btw I'm stuck with the second island. I got a bottle that leads me to a third map. But what then? There's nothing on it.
Yeah agree with you but maybe price drop next week or at least 50% sales-off and I don't want to regret it.Oceanhorn looks like a great game and I bet everyone likes it.I wish it was a full 3D game with high engines like Final Fantasy new game or close to Chaos Rings series.
This doesn't even make sense. Complaining about a $10 game that lasts 20 minutes is one thing, but the amount of storage space a game takes up generally has very little bearing on anything. The developers could easily have made the game take 1GB and play exactly the same, but what would have been the point, other than to unnecessarily waste space on your device? Don't worry, that's not happening.
Epic , and beautiful. This... This is a quality full blown game. Just a warning for the kids, this isn't your standard match 3 pay 2.99$ to continue type of game. This isn't your kill a few enemies complete & repeat type of game. This is a full blown vibrant adventure game, with a beautiful story and sound track. Premium game of the year type of game. Epic! Loving it and only 10% in
£5.99 was a bargain in my eyes, I fully expected this glorious game to be twice that. Any chumps holding off because of price need to evaluate themselves in the mirror. Anyone that calls themselves a gamer needs to buy this now! It is the closest thing to zelda we will ever get, an it's awesome!
I'm probably not as super impressed as the majority but on iOS is still deserves full marks, it's good solid entertainment that has obviously had a ton of love put into it. Oh and for the people thinking about waiting for a price drop, please don't. It's well worth the asking price and shoves it in the face of freemium, support it and the platform might mature in a positive direction rather than going down the gurgler.
Unfortunatley I'm still stuck because I entered the cave on that island so it respawns me there! I don't have a key so I'm stuck and I did not have a checkpoint activated anywhere else if you have any tips to help me get out of there I would appreciate it before I have to start over.
You can just swim back from the beach place. Just find the shortest route to the other beach. I tried it and works
I wish FDG or Fox would comment on this because I really hope they don't drop the price for a long long time if ever. They don't even need to. I don't think anything feels more like a slap in the face though than buying a game full price and it dropping a day or two later. Not that it's not worth it either way, just that I hate when that happens. I really don't think a price drop is happening anytime remotely soon though.
@michaelfields You're right about that. We really went the lowest price possible with the $8.99 as we knew we're going to get a hard time even with this. But with so much polish, development time, the participation of legendary composers and the overall quality and length you really can't get any lower than that.
