To anyone looking for US link; Just look up fdg, click on one of their games, click the developer name (under the title), scroll down. Quickest way to see new releases. No problem, rlcoop.
I've been playing it for a bit and it's pretty freaking amazing. When I first video of it I was really afraid that it was going a sort of "on-rails" type of rpg where you don't really have any exploration opportunities. And while you do have to do some things in a certain order to unlock other parts of the game (pretty typical) you can do the game at your own pace it seems. If I had any real complaints, it would be that it would be nice if I could expand the map. That really tiny square on the top of the screen is hard to make anything out.
I don't fit the demographics of iOS gaming, but honestly, nothing today has me excited. This game might be the closest, though. Now if that football game was football and not soccer.............
Does anyone know how many hours this game is? I don't feel like paying $9.00 for a short game. I stumbled upon one website saying it could possibly be a quick game. That's not much info to go on. EDIT: Nevermind. I actually read the App Store description. 10+ hours, and it will run at 60 FPS on my Air. I shall purchase.
Only 10hours? Entirely feasible to go finish this game in one day? Ugh, that makes me reconsider.. I hope there will be elements added to get more replay out of this if it is as good as everyone is saying
Only 10 hours? Many console games have 5-6 hours and you pay $60 for them. Anyway, been playing for 30 minutes so far and, wow, I'm really impressed. Amazing game and beautiful --- still can't believe it's under 300 MB. And does it bring back memories of Zelda - particularly Wind Waker. Not that it's not it's own creation, but clearly more than inspired by (a good thing). Can't wait to get further in.
Entirely feasible if you have no life.... Sorry if that sounds snarky but it really irks me when ios gamers complain about a game that has a respectable length for the cost. You can spend upwards of $40 on a Vita game of equal or lesser quality that will only give you 8 hours. For $8.99, it's a steal. Anyway, the TA reviewer mentioned they spent 13.5 hours playing and only had 70% completion so I'm sure the 10 hours is the bare minimum.
