If you're on iOS 13 GM you can already activate it. I'm downloading it as we speak. EDIT: It uses 2.33GB. (if storage is an issue for you) EDIT 2: It also works on my iPad Air 2 that is on iPadOS 13.1 PB3
I am on iOS 13 GM and I went to the Apple Arcade tab and there it was: I could sign up and simply use the Get button to download the game. You can try too if you're on iOS 13GM or iPadOS 13 Public Beta 3. Give it a shot, guys!
out for ios 13 betas (public and developer beta)...im on public beta though. can access it on both iphone and ipad. downloading sayonara wild hearts, oceanhorn 2, hot lava and few others on iPhone XS Max and ipad pro 2017 as we speak..
I just lost 30 minutes to Oceanhorn and I definitely want to play more. It looks as great as it does on all the videos and just reminds me of Oceanhorn and BOTW. Although the problem there is rather than completing my quest I spent the whole 30 minutes exploring and finding hidden things. My one gripe so far is you get challenges but no tutorial that I can see I have no idea how to sprint or dodge roll but maybe if I proceed with this first quest I’ll find out.
anyone know how to save your game? Seems rerunning to title screen doesn’t and that it only has set points where it saves and you don’t know when that is other than when it pops up to say it’s saving, so seems I can’t play as much as I want and then just quit whenever I want without losing progress.
Is this game (& all Apple Arcade games for that matter) only playable by subscription to Apple Arcade or can it also be purchased individually?
Not sure why people are still confused about the meaning of “exclusive.” Or, put another way, why would anyone subscribe to Apple Arcade if they were able to buy the games outright?
For the same reason, for example, I can purchase Xbox games outright or pay for Game Pass & have access to many games without direct purchase. I care about playing Oceanhorn not Apple Arcade. I just saw it was an Arcade game so I asked. Forgive the stupid question. Thanks for answering my question.
No offense intended — just that I’ve answered the same questions several times already. Good point about GamePass. Console gaming has a different economics — developers can actually make money by selling individual games.
Maybe one day you could buy them outright. I prefer to but for the tiny price of £4.99 you’ve essentially got it forever I buy lots of premium games and pay well over £4.99 a month for games. Can’t wait to try this service Be weird not moaning about freemium or that
