OMG I'm hyped for this game! I'm actually kinda expecting something like Zelda:BotW, something open world. But no matter, it's Oceanhorn 2!
From our development blog http://www.oceanhorn.com Since many of you can't make it to the Nordic Game conference in Malmö, Sweden – we decided to capture a video of our demo! The video is unedited footage that is captured on an actual iPhone 7 Plus. https://www.youtube.com/embed/YRp5_TvU3oI If you happen to be in Nordic Game, come visit us at Epic's booth and try out the demo yourself! I will keep it short and let the video and screenshots speak for themselves.
Amazing, just simply amazing. Now if you'll excuse me, i wanna grab my switch and start Zelda once again while waiting for this Btw, im glad that you guys kept all the original mechanism from the first one and not trying to be BOTW, since i know that everybody will compare this game to it. One thing though, i wanna see more complicated combat system and enemies to make the exploration more fun and challenging. Best luck for this game to cornfox team and i just can't wait to get my hands on it asap.
Looks amazing!!! I never beat the first one because I got a new phone before the iCloud update. Never made it thru to the end. Time to reinstall it and beat it!!!
Apples on trees you can get, barrels you can throw plis all the attention to very small detail, getting a BotW feel for the game even if it ain't. But still VERY BEAUTIFUL! Day one purchase definitely!
Must have watched that gameplay video 10 times and honestly cannot believe it's a mobile game. This will set a new standard. This has to be fairly close to release no? Looks pretty damn polished to me.
I actually felt the opposite, looks great but these guys are still releasing releasing the first oceanhorn on new platforms recently,so might be a while
Agree, although I am happy for them to take their time with tweaking and improving it before release. Players and Reviewers are going to spend all their time comparing this to Breath of the Wild (which is being called Game of the Year by some already!) and so it'll under serious critical review when its released, so making sure it will stand on its own merits is no bad thing Honestly very excited for mobile gaming - Games like this, Total war, Warhammer end of times and Race Driver:GRID with a gamevice mean you can say iOS is able to standg toe to toe with the Nintendo switch for the mobile gaming sector
The first Oceanhorn was a collaboration between FDG Games and Cornfox & Bros, but this new game is the Cornfox guys on their own. So I don't think FDG continuing to bring the first game to more platforms will interfere with the development of this sequel, at least that's my guess.
maybe, but they have not committed to a release date or release period so I doubt its close to release
Wondering if anyone had seen any more news on the new Oceanhorn? The last video looked fantastic and it would be interesting to hear if there had been any more development?
