In the game you control either the German or the U.S. and British forces. You play using cards that represent the brigades, regiments and battalions which fought in the battle. Each unit is rated for it’s strength in infantry, armor, artillery and cohesion. You move and fight with the combat cards to eliminate the opponent’s cards and achieve or thwart a strategic breakthrough. Terrain cards represent the significant geography of the battle, such as Bastogne, Ellsborn Ridge and the Meuse River, which served to hinder or speed the German attack. There are also Event cards that represent all the situations that arose during the battle including events such as German commandos misdirecting traffic, mass surrenders and panics, air strikes and even Patton’s prayer for clear weather! Key Features: - Playable as both the U.S. and German sides vs. AI. - Play the full map or the North or South individually. - Randomised or Predefined game setup. - 300 cards featuring units, terrain and events. - Authentic WW2 images. - Weather & terrain effects. - Supply lines, cohesion checks and town encirclement. - Faithful recreation of the original card game. - Full game rules included. Would love some gameplay videos, took a look at the older title but I really want to see the cards in action Is it hard to get into these games? Hilarious. By the way, the whole Stay, Mum fiasco wasn't a total disaster. It has earned you at least one more follower on YouTube, me. I was slightly disappointed though that you didn't do a walk through for Lumino City. I had to watch somebody else's video for the lightmill stage. Spoiler Only because I didn't realize I could take the morse code sheet out of the book in the library. I don't want to derail this thread too much, but I'm still playing LC. I was planning to spend time with it today, but then The Room Three surprised me. I still plan to finish and review LC, but likely won't make a walkthrough since there are plenty of them out there already. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #10 currymutton, Nov 5, 2015 Glad to find that there is no mandatory map downloading in the first run... Well, anyone who knows the origin of this probably-the-most-famous-swear-word-in-military-history would expect some cameo appearances of squirrels or some other hard-shell-cracking animals... Question: any way to replay the tutorial "video" CoreyB Well-Known Member Aug 25, 2011 503 0 0 Aircraft Mechanic Chicago, IL #11 CoreyB, Nov 5, 2015 Great game but has serious problems, that for a $10 should have been addressed before release. When playing the first scenario after a couple turns when it is the combat phase and the AI attacks the game gets frozen. You need to press commit to start combat then the event screen pops up with all the events greyed out (unusable) and combat never starts. To replay tutorial videos go to help then there is a button to play all the videos or just the a partial related to the particular rule. Did it just happen the once or does it happen everytime for you? Also can you please let us know the type of iPad and the version of iOS you have installed on it? Cheers! I have never been a fan of hidden rolls and I wonder if there is an option to turn them on that I missed? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
