Gotcha my friend, thank you I'm wondering how I missed this when it was early in development.. I would have loved to beta test this.. Not enough metroidvanias in the App Store. Will try to keep it together until it's released lol ###
OK, here's what's up: The good news: Apple approved the build, so YAY!!! The bad news: I found a gameplay bug, which I do NOT want players to run into. And I don't want to botch the release because of a stupid bug! So I fixed it and resubmitted the game just now for another review. I apologize to all of you who are waiting for Nubs' Adventure to be released (I'm excited too!). But I'd rather have a proper release a few days later than a buggy one now... I hope you understand!
It's for the best, one bad bug and people will trash the game before giving it a chance to see how great it is. Guess we wait some more
Cool, just stumbled on this thread - loved Rico (I need one of those jet packs), this looks even better. Looking forward to this. Too bad it didn't make it out before the long weekend (US), but you're absolutely right to hold it if it has a game breaking bug. Congrats, the art looks great.
A couple of days ago IMakeGames started working in our coworking space in Vienna and I had the chance to play Nubs' Adventure for a bit. To keep this story short and simple: it was an absolutely amazing experience. I love all those tiny gameplay twists. There are so many wonderfully crafted details and the soundtrack is just beautiful. Im really looking forward to playing the game on my own phone cheers
It's the one that had a pretty game-breaking bug with iOS 8.3. Caused a pretty big stir on the forums before it was fixed. This game is way to good to let anything like that happen to it.
It true! Nubs' Adventure will be released on Thursday, 28th of May! That's in two days! I'm really looking forward to releasing this game. It's been two long years of development. I'm sincerely hoping you'll enjoy Nubs' Adventure!
Any estimation to how long it'll be before Nubs' Adventure is out? I'm presuming you have to manually flick the release switch, right?
I'll flick the switch at around 1 PM CEST. Also - and I almost forgot, sorry - a big shoutout to the Bloodirony team who are currently working on Shooting Stars: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=259672 I've met them recently and got the chance to play Shooting Stars as well. And while it's a completely different experience compared to Nubs' Adventure, I've been enjoying it a great deal! You should check it out too!
A very biased beta tester of this great and charming adventure is waiting for the switch to be flicked. Go Vienna and good luck my friend!
