Been absolutely loving this and has been a pleasure to test. Cannot wait for the finished product. The controls, game play, and environment are all fantastic. A relaxing exploration at times and frantic battles at others....really great mix. The deeper I get, the more I want to play. Reminds me of the show "Lost" for some reason....you progress and do things not sure why you are doing it and filled with lots of weird symbols which at first you have no idea what they mean, but eventually they make sence.
Have been loving the game more and more as I play the beta with my daughter. I do the hard platforming and she love exploring the world. I will definitely be picking this up when you add all the juice to the final build. Congrats on the pocket gamer preview today. Nubs totally deserves it. Cheers

Hey I just wanted to say that I've been testing this for about a week and I love it. So many games have the promise of Metroidvania on iOS and never live up to it. But this? This is amazing! I hesitate to call it a Metroidvavnia because the feeling you get when you play is unique, something I've never experienced in any game, let alone on iOS. I love it: the sound, the atmosphere, the mechanics--heck, the scene where the he finds his house even made me feel sorry for him. This is great, and even though I'm not even close to finishing it, I just want to keep playing and never stop. Also, that death worm thing is freaking awesome.

Yeah! I just submitted the final build to Apple and hope for a pain-free review process. If things go smoothly, Nubs' Adventure will be out on iOS on the next couple of days!!!!!! Again, HUGE thanks to all the beta testers that provided valuable feedback and bug reports!

I loved beta testing this! What a wonderful pleasure the little character is! A very creative and seemingly simple game full of fun and little secrets to discover. I look forward to the finished result. Unfortunately, i didn't get to finish the game. My ipad crashed and had to wipe everything! Sigh.... Still enjoyed what I played though.
i like the character in this game. simple but looks cute. and the opening of the story makes me feel sad for him.
Glad you enjoyed it, sorry your iPad crashed I did quite a bit of performance improvements since the beta that should also fix the crashes that were still happening from time to time on older devices. Thank you! Evoking emotions in a player is a really hard thing to do, so I'm glad you're feeling for little Nubs!
No proper release date yet, as I can't predict how much time Apple's review process will take. But if all goes smoothly, maybe next week?
Totally agree with you. I felt so bad for him when he was getting pushed around. Hope this comes out this week....which is shaping up to be a good one.
