The only dancing I do it with my wife at clubs, and sometimes she gets freaky with that shit and frankly I don't know what to do (I am that bad at dancing). I usually let her dance with other chicks/guys who know what they are doing so she enjoys herself. I have to be at least 8 beers in to even begin dancing. LOL

Just being real! hahaha. I actually get panic attacks when it comes to dancing, unless I am drunk (which I found itthe most effective cure lol). At our Wedding, I almost freaked out on our first dance with everyone watching us and shit. It was bad. But I held my composure for that. Then I tried to dance a couple times at our wedding and I had panic attacks. It was pretty brutal. (Not to mention, mind-blowingly embarrassing.)

So now at clubs and shit when I just start freaking out (I seriously can't help it btw) I just run off to the bar and slam 2 beers as quickly as possible. I finally get comfortable enough after about 7-8 beers. I'm telling you it's a freaking miracle. LOL. In the meantime, she dances with other people. Problem solved!

    Shuffling originated from Melbourne.

    True story!

I'm not in Melbourne, but shuffling is literally everywhere in Victoria. Being from Queensland it isn't as profound but you will always find the shuffling freaks at nightclubs etc.
I have given it a go and it's simply not worth the effort to get good at it. The very best shufflers seem like they are gliding and have no friction what so ever and I don't have the effort to get to that stage! A few beers does bring on a woeful attempt at shuffling however :D

Yeah, I live in Melbourne and grew up being a shuffler myself. Based on the shuffling gangs of the 70's in Chicago, there are also two shuffling gangs - Crips and Bloods - in Melbourne.
