I personally prefer Eliminate's graphics over NOVA's. I also like Eliminate's online multiplayer and RPG system. The multiplayer in Eliminate keeps me into it because of the level progression and RPG system. N.O.V.A has a nice campaign but I still prefer Eliminate. I also like the tap to fire mechanic in Eliminate over the button in N.O.V.A.

NOVA is way better than eliminate, in every category imaginable.

    ELIMINATE Pro

For all the reasons stated I as well stick with ELIMINATE.

I cant discredit N.O.V.A. at all because it is a very beautiful game and it has a very beautiful campaign. I bought it mainly for the single player and to replace it Modern Combat. The multiplayer is nice for sure but reasons stated on ELIMINATE like the rpg elements and ranking system make me feel like i am always earning something. I can't say that about N.O.V.A. and it is starting to feel a bit repetitive here and there...I do enjoy it though.

I have never been fond of the MC:S/NOVA control scheme even though i am good with it. Eliminate's controls for me are like 2nd nature and i felt that way after playing my very 1st match. I have never felt this way about MCS or N.O.V.A. to date. I love the intense deathmatches in ELIMINATE far more.

    -Single player= N.O.V.A.

    -Multiplayer= ELIMINATE

-Plus+ will always be better than Gameloft Live. ;)

Nova, not even a fair comparison. no energy cells, bigger maps, better graphics, fair game play, no shield-bashing, no lvls. And frankly a lot of people say eliminate has customization, but in reality it has very little and it all costs money.

And don't think I'm favoring one side because I dislike eliminate, I've bought the $30 pack and leveled up to 50. Fair to say I've played enough of both to form a strong opinion.

Eliminate has RPG elements, yes, BUT it's only the illusion of progression.

You upgrade your gear but have to fight people at higher levels who have access to gear/weapons you don't (I often fought people 20+ levels higher than me, wasn't fun at all). Then by the time you rank up and can upgrade your gear the other people have leveled up as well, and they have better gear again. It's this endless cycle that lures people into buying power cells to upgrade.

I personally hate the upgrade/RPG element of Eliminate, it's the reason I deleted the app. There are people on there with little skill who just pump out rockets and anitmatter jets with no accuracy but they get kills because the game is poorly balanced.

Eliminate had a very cool concept, but it fails in execution. On the other hand NOVA has players in equal footing where TALENT and ability are the determining factors....not credits and upgrades.

I find myself having more fun with NOVA, and having more frustration with Eliminate. To each their own...but I'd also say Eliminate's art is pretty...but NOVA's is prettier. That, AND the frame rate in NOVA seems to be twice that of Eliminate, making it much more playable for me.

If by "better controls" you mean laggy, glitchy and low frame rates...then I'd agree. If this were opposite world.

Instead of calling it Eliminate Pro, they should call it Eliminiate Beta....that's what I feel like I'm playing when I tried Eliminate.

Auto-fire helps controls a lot, but think about how much the computer is doing for you at that point. It does all the work deciding when you fire, it's not skill based...it's upgrade and equipment based. The better "targeting" skill you have the better auto-targeting works too.

NOVA offers a more pure...console-like experience, IMO.

If someone snipes me in NOVA all I think is "woah nice shot man", when I'm playing Eliminate the kills make me feel like "WTF? not fair, this sucks". Unloading entire clips into people and getting killed with one shot in Eliminate sours the experience quickly. I like the balanced combat in NOVA!

I think that long-term, the game with the most fair combat (no hackers, cheaters) will offer the best experience.
