Personally, I have NOVA and treated myself to Modern Combat when it went down in price earlier this week. I've spent a good couple of hours on MC:S, and before yesterday would have recommended it. BUT Gameloft updated NOVA yesterday and I have to say, I've fallen in love with it all over again! The HD graphics are better than any handheld game has any right to be and the new gyroscope control option is, in my humble opinion, sensational. Gyro is the way forward. Either of these fine games make a fabulous addition to any respectable iGamer's inventory of games, but for me NOVA now has the edge over just about every other FPS on the App Store at this moment in time and at £2.99 ($4.99) is fantastic value. But hey, while MC:S is on sale at 59p (99c), why not treat yourself to both? I defy you to regret it..!!
I liked Nova's campaign, but there were a bunch of hackers in Multiplayer. MC: Sandstorm has good Multiplayer and the Campaign is decent. Never played Resident Evil...
get sandstorm. the multiplayer + campaign is WAY better than NOVA. i dont get why ppl like that game so much. the fact is, that if you have looked at the prices of the gameloft games, you will notice that most of them start with a price which is i think 8 dollars, 5,49 euro. after a while (1-2 months or something) it drops to 4, but before that there is a lite version coming out. and like every three months there is another sale like this one where the price of a few games drops to one buck per game. so i would wait for a sale before buying a gameloft game or try the lite version like someone else mentioned already, get jet car stunts, and definitely buy SNAIL MAIL. its the best game out there, im always wondering why its not so popular. at my school it is, and none of my friends beside two get past level 30, i managed to reach level 50 check out the lite version, dont think it will be that slow all time. if you see someone playing a 30+ level, you wont think you will ever be that good. believe me. also check out: freeappaday.com freegameoftheday.com greatappaday.com freeappcalendar.com for free games daily.
Yeah. NOVA's Online MP isn't all that great. The maps are so boring and uncreative. Its Campaign Mode was boring and uninteresting as well. Definitely get Modern Combat: Sandstorm though.
