I normally never even download freemium games, but my daughter liked the looks of Happy Street so much and I figured that at least the game was sort of well received here. She really likes it, and it is a bit of fun to play together, but I'm still not liking the freemium mechanic. I also have no interest in the friends-part of the game. Is there a regular paid iPad game with similar mechanics that we should try? It should be super casual, just for fun.
Not sure if this is the right type your looking for and if it's casual enough.. I tried the lite versions of "My Kingdom for the Princess" and "Roads of Rome", and was surprised how much it feels like the freemium down builder games without the paid IAP timers. Give the lite versions a spin to see if it's what your looking for.
