Yup @ Foursaken Media Ohh ok i understand now. It's actually really cool that you guys are doing it this way instead of an all out strategic or guns blazing type game because it simulates that nothing you do in the game-or life- is a straight forward path to victory since you need balance to make it work for you. The ideas of the units make it seem that this is more comparable to how an actual war torn battlefield would be like, even if the hard core elements aren't present! Congrats on the game nonetheless
Hello, Dev's, love Noblemen first impression, but about the other games, we will recibe an iOS 11 update? (Bug Heroes 2, H&C 2, etc)?
Yes... we're going to let a few games die, but everything but our least popular games will get an update, including those you mentioned.
No, unfortunately. The iPad 4 is actually far inferior to the iPhone 5... sadly... the reason is that its pushing out over 4x the pixels that the iPhone 5 is, with nearly the same guts. Honestly, its a stretch to even include iPhone 5 in our supported devices bc it's using our old, unsupported graphics engine, but some beta testers have said its run well enough... But the "cutoff" you may often see with graphically intensive games is the iPhone 5s and iPad Air bc those are the lowest openGL 3.0 devices. Ironically, the higher openGL version not only gives us better graphics options, but also allows us to optimize the game for better performance as well - but we can't get those benefits on iPhone 5 and iPad 4, which are the devices that need it the most!
In case you missed the front page article, we've finally Submitted Noblemen: 1896 and are looking at an Aug 31 release date! Here are a few new screens to celebrate!
Some feedback on the trailer ... it looks great except for when the guy swings his sword at the rifleman. The rifleman doesn't react and the sword swing is too far off and doesn't look like it should even have made contact. However, there is a blood splatter. I would suggest retaking that clip for the final trailer.
Thanks for the heads up - seems to be working on my desktop but not on mobile or the app. Weird. Let me fix these up. Edit: reposting
If it goes through the submitting process without problem, could we be looking at ealier realese date.
Looks brilliant - is there any update on mfi support? I remember earlier in the thread it was mentioned it would be looked into closer to release
Unfortunately the problem with mfi is that there are so many parts of the game that don't correlate to a simple button press... such as tapping units to move on the in game tactical map, or tapping a melee icon to go into melee with a specific squad. So, at least for launch, we won't officially support mfi. We do hope to revisit it for an update, but even then it will be more like a "hack" just to get it to work fully in the game.
