Right now, you play as a set faction, so you're stuck with the basic flag >_< Both sides do have access to the same units (they have some minor cosmetic differences)... think, Advance Wars and other games like that - we're able to create a more balanced library of units this way, and make it so as the player learns about their units, they understand both how to counter them, and how they get countered. It also makes sense, considering the back story of the game scenario itself. Trust me, usually I am a fan of asymmetrical factions (see: most of our other games), but in this game symmetrical sides made more sense. Anyway... we're really getting close now... We're hoping to start collecting beta applicant maybe even as early as next week (NOTE: NO PROMISES THOUGH )! Still have some important UI to finish up (hence to lack of screenshots still), but we're really getting close. Once some more of the fundamentals are done, we'll also get to work on an official trailer with some juicy new gameplay and all that. So anyway... stay tuned for beta info coming soon!
I wouldn't go that far, heh , but I would like to try beta on this game too since I missed out on the one for H&C2.
This looks awesome I am the founder and owner of a clan called MvG (most valuable gamers). We are involved heavily in the gaming community and are part of several games that are alpha and beta. As a clan we are competitive and want to help the industry evolve and expand. And how we do this is by playing games. We have access to several games that are still in the early stages and with out valuable feedback help the developer and the industry evolve. I would love to be a part of noblemen 1896 if you need any beta testers don't hesitate to get in touch.
Are looking for more testers? If you guys are looking for android tester here I am, I played more android games that I can count and I have the lucky to find all kind of fails bugs etc. If you need help here's one more person ready
there are not so many new and original game concepts in the AppStore this one looks very promising I hope we don't have to wait for ages before we can play this.
Keep your eyes out for the official invite and we'd love to have you. Unfortunately the beta will be iOS only >_<
That looks awesome! So for the beta you'll send out invites? Also, thats a different knapsack than before, is that because this is a different class?
We'll announce the beta here when its ready, and we'll have those interested send us applications, and we'll pick from there. We'll give all the details when the time comes Re: backpack, there are randomized armors you collect, with all sorts of different looks (fur coat, different hats, helmets, different coats, armor, shields, etc). So basically, your class determines your weapon (and gives some general stat buffs, based on the class), and your armor determines your look (as well as more prominent stat bonuses and traits). You choose your class loadout at the start of each battle (as it will depend on what regiments and units you are fighting). As you collect armor, you will draw those "armor cards" on the strategic map, which you can equip on your hero for a certain amount of battles (think something similar to hearthstone weapons).
I am constantly in awe This game will be at the top of Apples game of the month for sure. Its jusy ao different and wonderful and everything so far bleeds awe inspiring. If asked you before if i can beta test BUT i will be patient for the signup applications
Order I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say The Order: 1886 heavily inspired the theme of this game. That being said, this game looks to have way better gameplay than the previously stated one. The graphics/settings will finally have some gameplay that backs it up. Can't wait
Theme wise, definitely. The time period in general has also always intrigued us because of it being on the cusp of modern day warfare, but still latching onto "old combat" like melee combat, cavalry, etc. It really gave us a wide range of weapons and units to play with Of course, I suppose in any alternate reality universe we could do whatever we wanted, but it makes more sense at least in this time period. Another thing that I love about the era is the idea of wide open field combat. I think something that will be markedly different from most shooters you see (definitely on mobile), is that combat takes place in large, open fields and areas, as opposed to claustrophobic corridors (not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that). There is a lot of maneuvering to flank and get around enemy cover, for ex.
So intriguing. Thank the good Lord my wife has an iPhone 7. Hopefully she'll let me play your new gamez on it The 3rd person sounds really fleshed out, hopefully the ovetland map warfare is good too I remember yall saying something about artillery or battleships on other map squares affecting current battles.. hope that is still in and working as you hope.
