Sorry for the lack of replies and updates lately. Will not be launched in Q1 at this point >_< The game has just proved to be quite a bit bigger than we were anticipating... has a lot of moving parts that have to fit nicely together that are taking some time to get things right.

I know its been quiet, but hopefully we'll have some a status update soon. Its taken quite some time to iron out the gameplay but I think we're finally on track... Hope to have more news soon!
Have made a TON of changes to the strategic part of the game, which has really been the hold up. Its been more challenging than we thought to be able to merry the elements seamlessly together... but I think we're finally getting there. Honestly there was a point where we almost considered just making it purely combat and getting rid of the strategic part. This game in particular is really pretty massive because it basically has two entire games in one (the FULL strategic part, and the FULL combat part). The challenge has also been to make sure that each mode would be fun enough to stand on its own.. Anyway, not quite ready to show off the strategic part of the game yet bc we still have the UI to finish up... so, all I can say is: we're getting there! I hate to have to keep saying "hope to have more soon", but.... hope to have more soon!
That's awesome to hear! And the best part is, no other App Store game has done something like this, or has even come close because those games only have the strategy aspect. With games like risk and world conqueror, you don't get to be apart of the battles up close.
Would love to see a post-mortem dev diary for this after release to see all the changes it went through!
