A while back, I found this screen grab while browsing through a pretty reliable source's profile on here. I tried to get some info, but got the typical "No information is available at this time" response. Out there, somewhere, over a rainbow, someone is playing StarCraft on their iPhone. I imagine it was a third party project and was being designed for jailbroken devices. Even though I doubt it is Blizzard doing an exceptional quality build, I would still love to get my hands on this game.

Maybe it's some sort of Starcraft guide as the icon, there's also a way to change the name of apps when you jailbreak your device. However, there is a Starcraft "clone" called Starfront Collision by Gameloft, as well as other rts games out there.

Lol it's starfront collision with the Starcraft name and icon. It's super easy to do.

This was from 2009. Way before Starfront. The graphics artist was very active with Warfare Incorporated, so it makes sense that he'd have ins with other developers in the RTS community, and especially have the opportunity to alpha/beta test major games in that area.

I think the fact that it's from 2009 and the screenshot has a background image means it's JB'ed (persistent backgrounds didn't come until iOS 4 a year later). I'm pretty sure that app has been altered and is not really Starcraft.
