Where are the (REAL SPORTS) titles ?The iphone is no doubt the best mobile device out there right now. So why are there no (REAL) football or baseball or basketball games out there in the app store ? This is crazy , i see friends and family playing madden on thier phones and tiger woods golf but i have nothing to show with this top notch phone that has no real sports titles available. Apple needs to get thier act together and get these third party developers on board and fast. That app store has no (REAL SPORTS) games but real soccer 09. That is shameful.

Give it time, this is a very new platform, and most big sports titles come from the main game companies which haven't all started producing games for the app store yet. Plus, game's like Madden etc are licensed, so may take longer to make the switch or have the details worked out.

Agreed - I would love to see more sports games made for the iPhone. Tiger Woods 09 should be released sometime soon, but I would really like to see a Madden or similar football game

    I agree 100%.
It makes no sense. There are like 10 ping pong games but no Baseball, Basketball, Football or Hockey. Lame.

Second that, although I don't know how I would pick out all the fine details of a players contract on that small screen with my finger. Plus it would be cut down in features just like the PSP version, so maybe I'll stick to my laptop.

Is there any information about Gameloft making a Real Soccer 2010, or will it be an update to the current game, etc; or am I getting ahead of the topic here?

We had a web-based iPhone golf game out a year ago. Decided not to go native on this because we though EA would do Tiger Woods Golf.

I'm AMAZED that Madden hasn't shown up yet. That would sell 1m units at $9.99.

I know of a couple sports games. I haven't played any of these however, so don't take this as a recommendation!

Real Soccer 2009: (I know you mentioned this, but I decided to link it)

    Touch Sports Tennis:

Foosball (OK, not a sport, but I thought it cool enough to mention)

You can'tget a more "real sports" game than Real Soccer. It's easily the equal to other consoles' ports

I agree more sports games would be good.

In particular i'd like to see:
    • SSX (think Snail Mail esque controls with gestures for tricks)
    • Pro Evo (think of the excellent wii version on iphone!)
    • Virtua Tennis
    • NBA Street
    • a decent boxing game (Smack isn't very good)
    • a decent Football (soccer) Manager game

But in the meantime there is Real Football (or Soccer to you Americans), which is a really good game and well worth the money.

  16. Real Football/Soccer is fantastic - I've owned both Pro Evo and FIFA on the DS in the past and Real Football is far superior.
Waiting for a good golf game though !

Yeah, i've seen that but its not true boxing as there is Muay Thai and Kick Boxing in there, which puts me off it. Plus I prefer arcade style "fun" boxing games like ready to rumble or Punch out!
