I haven’t spotted anything new yet. Maybe November, since the iPadOS 16 is delayed to October. Or it will be one of those end of the year big games in December.
Anything on compatibility yet I know M1 and up we only have until December 20th or so I hope we hear more news soon
I am having a feeling It might be sometime early next year or first Quarter of the year if anything, I think. They still have to port it to Mac computers as well . It would be an amazing surprise though if it does come out this December. Still hoping! Edit: Here are parts of their latest blog post.
Admin on Discord told someone "Soon TM (Trade Mark)." As usual the dreaded “Soon”. This means they are guaranteeing a release from now until the end of time. Most likely earlier than the end of time. Edit:

Apple just had a rare January announcement event and teased No Man’s Sky again but for the the new MacBook Pro and Mac mini with M2. Also the Holiday expedition event for No Man’s Sky is about to end on January 18. I think we will hear something soon. It might not be for iPad yet but things are moving. Edit: At 3:15 you see a small clip of it running on a M2 Mac Mini. At the very end of the video with the Apple logo splash screen it says in small writing No Man’s Sky will be available later this year.
