So want this game! But... I have 1g touch ;( will probs suck. Anyone know what it's like? Games like real racing work fine though
I caved in last night and purchased it, just like I remembered the game it is perfect to this day still. However I do have a question, how do I preform a "nose grind".
For the most part it is smooth BUT expect some slowdowns/lag during play. It doesn't kill the experience but you may do things that you don't want to do. I have the latest update not jailbroken. To the poster asking about the nosegrind hold up on the d-pad as you're approaching a rail and hit grind button.
Thanks darkhorse for the nosegrind tip. One last trick question tho, is it possible to preform a manual in this version? Im having a hard time of getting 75k points in the hanger if I could just get that manual figured out would be easier.
Same as always you hit up/down or down/up before landing to continue your trick combo... My largest trick so far has been 14x
my experience on 1g touch = game plays flawless my experience = maybe best game ever made how do you score 75000 points in one 2 min session? i can only break 20000 and almost non-stop tricking from beginning to end...thx
Awesome game and controls work good, though it takes a while to fully master them. The key is to combine tricks. On the first level you can start off with a grab trick over the half pipe and you get a 2x multiplier + the gap, then into a manual (3x), a grind on the quarter pipe over to the next area(4x), kickflip to manual on the ground (6x) and another flip or grab trick depending on your speed and you have a 40k combo in 10 seconds.
Any ideas on how to get the last $100 bill in the hangar? The one way above the main half pipe. Its the last thing I need to get the last Goal for the level. I maxed out by Hang time and air but still cant seem to grab it.
Grind the helicopter, after it's gone, go up the back ramp by the hidden door, come down and launch straight over the middle wall onto the light/rail, hold the grind and jump right at the end...
You need to grind the helicopter blades in the left side room first to create some space. You know that ramp that is in the middle of the heli room that is facing the glass? Once the heli takes off you will have enough space to go straight at it and burst through the glass and soon as you do you will see a beam to grind to grab the cash.
After you gind the chopper blade and it takes off, go off that little QP right next to it, but hold up as you go off it. Then you'll jump forward, and since that light fell down a bit, you should be able to grind it. Grind it until the end, then jump off and grab the bill. I spent days when I first borrowed this one from a friend trying to get that one bill. Let me know if it doesn't work.
