This argument can be made for any iphone game, Your touching a flat piece of glass, in turn provides ZERO tactical feedback. So yes your right it is a bit weird but it's also very responsive and works well for what it is!

 

Speaking of skateboarding games; I bought Skater Nation at 0.99, and it won't sync. Translated from Swedish it says; "The app Skater Nation could not be installed because its rescourses have changed". Does anyone know what this means? Never had this problem before. I've asked and searched everywhere, but I find no answers.

I'm just afraid thps will do the same (no need to buy a 9.99 game that doesn't sync).

I have all the latest upgrades, both iPhone and iTunes (iPhone 3G).

 

I have. The game is great. Really fun. Don't hesitate, buy it. Sometimes I get a minor lag, but it's not too annoying. Only happened about twice for 3 seconds.

This is the best skating game on the app store, hands down

How does this run on an iPod Touch 3G? (regarding loading times and framerate)

 

maybe redownload skater nation
and try to resync

 

A couple of things to try:

- make sure you meet the minimum firmware requirements (in case you aren't at 3.1.2)
- delete it from iTunes and redownload it
- download/install it straight from the iPhone

the interface of this game doesnt look very good but if the gameplay is fun i may pick it up later

 

Yeah, I got tired of waiting so just went the US Account/Vanilla Mastercard route (an option for any other Canadians out there). No idea why this wasn't released internationally unless there's some licensing problem with some of the brands or something.

I'm having a really hard time getting on board with the D pad. I find it kind of infuriating. It's very fiddly and it seems a virtual stick would have been a better choice.

Maybe it'll grow on me over time, but for now it's kind of annoying.

Oh, and if anyone finds the colours dull (I did), boost the gamma in the options menu.
