iPad [NO LONGER ON APP STORE]Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - (by Activision)

Which is really too bad. It would be nice to have this fixed, retina, iCloud, Game Center and multitasking. It's the best game to many in the series and could have been really great.

 

No new Updates? I really hope they will work on an Update...or work on another THPS on iOS.

 

Nope and I've not bought a single Activision/Blizzard published game since the last time I was in contact with them over THPS2.

 

Yeah, me neither. The way they've treated their iOS customers has totally turned me off of their releases, on EVERY platform.

 

Hey guys, I found out how to get the sound back in the game. First start the app normally and go to any level. Then lock your device and unlock it and the sound effects will come on. I learned that from a review of the game. Works like a charm on my iPod touch.

 

Has anyone beaten the game with all the characters?

 

I had but I reinstalled the app due to the sound issues. Thought the iCloud backup would have saved it but apparently not.

 

Did you try the solution I posted above for the sound issue?

 

Yep although hardly ideal since I've a complex passcode. Thanks for the tip. On 5.1 if anyone else is wondering.

 

Yeah, I have 100% with all characters including Officer Dick & Pvt Carrera along with all gaps. I am really dissapointed you can't unlock chopper drop or skate heaven in this though, was looking forward to it.

And someone earlier said they couldn't use McSqueeb, I can, it is just Tony Hawk then pick style C.

 

This worth it for 1.99? How are the controls?

Very much double that Activision will bother to fix the issue.

 

I have an iPhone 4s running IOS 5.1.1 and I have THPS2 version 1.1.0 - I have done all the levels with all the skaters to 100% but every time i attempt bullring competion my device freezes up after the first run? I have tried it with different skaters, i have reset my device and still it doesnt let me move on? where can i download a newer version of the game if that is the problem?

 

I wish Activision would update this to Game Center! I love this game as a kid.

 

...or retina, widescreen support, or universal...

 

And don't forget the original soundtrack plus the availability to use you own soundtrack / playlist.

 

Don't forget iPad support.

 

I hope Activision updates Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, so we can play it without the blank white screen.

 

Was this game pulled? I was about to buy it but i can't find it in the US app store. I even used those kiwi links and tried other app stores but nada
