Is the game's graphics and colors extremely washed out and dark for anyone else? I'm on an iPhone 4 with the newest OS and gamma turned up all the way and it's still very washed out, especially the menus. Not sure if anyone else was experiencing this. Thanks
Actually I just found out that if you have the gamma turned all the way up AND the device's brightness turned up almost full, it looks much much better. Hopefully it doesn't drain the battery a ton more but it's at least a big help. Now I just have to remember to boost the brightness before launching the game...
spiderman has anyone figured out how to PLAY the game with spiderman or mcsqeeb? i have everyone 100% except for hitting all of the gaps... what am i missing here? i enabled these cheats (180 lbs and mcsqueeb) but neither skater is accessible in career mode. is this it for the game? is all that is left pvt carerra by hitting 100% of the gaps? that sucks. if so does anyone know of a tutorial to help with all of the gaps?

Seems that the latest iOS completely breaks THPS2. Crashes every time I exit out of a level now, no matter what level it is. Non-jailbroken iPhone 4. Reinstalled but had the same effect. Also lost my completed 100% savegame. Pity but not that bad a loss. Always fun playing through this game.
Game now works on iOS5 and doesn't crash between level changes but now there's no sound. Bloody hell. There's music but no sound despite whatever the sound level is set to in the menu.
Son of a! Don't expect a patch either... God I hate you Activision for how you have neglected this amazing game.
According to a 'Cathleen', the issue's been escalated to second level support. I don't hold much faith though for anything to come of it. Completely useless in my experience.
Not available in my region (Asia). This is the kind of game I would love to play, so it's a bit disappointing not being able to buy it. Does anyone know any similar games to this?
Anyone who has a copy of THPS2 and is on iOS 5, can you double check if the sound works? Activision now thinks that it's my particular phone that's the issue (even though the sound works in every other app except noise.io). Also asking el gf and another mate to try THPS2 on their phones as well. Looking about some review sites, it seems to be quite a big problem. Activision still insists on me taking my phone to an Apple store though
Yup, me too... just updated to iOS 5 this morning, and came here to ask about it... =o/ Hope they see it's a big problem, and don't just tell everyone to take their devices to Apple...
This was the exact message that I was sent. Apparently they haven't been able to recreate it so that means everything must be fine. Typical Activision to be honest. Just one reason I haven't bought any of their games since May (SC2 was on sale for £20, had to get it).
Hmm, I wonder if they heard the music and thought that was all that there was supposed to be and didn't know/realize that there are sound effects as well. I doubt this was escalated to a developer, probably just first line help desk that loaded the app, heard the music and said it was fine. I'd respond that you know of several users that are experiencing the same issue and that they need to pay attention that the music is fine, but there should be additional sound effects (like the skateboard rolling, grunts from the boarder, etc) that are not present any longer.
I´m having the same issue: no sound, music plays fine on iPad 2 with IOS 5 Thinking about to leave a 1 Star review in the store to help getting this solved
Wow... great. This is one of my favorite iPhone games tbh. I've played the living hell out of it and still do. I'll be holding off from iOS5 as long as I can I guess. I highly doubt this issue is going to be fixed. They updated this app like once, and pretty much let it hang past that.
