@Diggins and median The only way to unlock cheats is by completing career mode (100% on every level). Every character you complete it with unlocks a cheat.
Ok, cool, thanks for the info guys. Knowing the moves definitely helps, does anyone know someplace all tricks are listed? I've looked online quite a bit but didn't find anything totally comprehensive. It's a bit disappointing that you can't just unlock everything in a cheat as with the console versions, but I guess that it will keep me honest and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
It was priced higher than Skate It and other competing games which were made specifically for iphone. They had to go lower to stay competitive.
I fully agree, but that's the point. You can buy a new iphone specific game for 7 bucks that's "just ok" or You can buy a port of an old game that has years upon years of good reviews for 5 bucks It's a no brainer at that price. If they stayed at $10 people would shy away from it thinking it's too high a price for a port.
you know i expected skate it to be better because it was made for touch devices but i couldnt stand it! it was just annoying and incredibly difficult. I'm decent at console skate games but i still prefer the arcadey-ness of tony hawk games.
I was always a fan of the series, but I leave in greece..So I bought a US itunes card just to for this game... The only thing this game needs is the original soundtrack
Indeed... I've given up and gotten myself an old Playstation 1 and currently looking to buy a used copy of the game online. Stupid *bleeping* publishers... %#4"!?!
Let's have a bet, which is going to come along first... TH in the UK Store or Mirror's Edge for iPhone/Touch. I can't say just yet.
I'm pretty much thinking the same thing. I only reason it may come out soon is because the iPad hysteria may dim down in a little while.
The rumor on the ME thread in the Upcoming Games forum is that EA is holding Mirror's Edge back until the fall so it won't compete with Sim City Deluxe.
