You have to finish 100% goals and cash for each level?! Whoa! I got some 100%s and all gold medals, but all cash and every goal? Gonna take me a while
Is there anything new in this version beyond other versions? I've played at least 300 hours of THPS2 and I already own the best version of the game (2x for the Xbox) but yet I still find myself wanting to get this version. Sorry if this question's already been asked.
C'mon, it's the greatest skating game ever on the go. It's on your ipod/phone. I have the PC version, which has a bit more content than this, but I went ahead and bought this the moment it came out anyway. And it was well worth it. It's still one of my most played games. Sure, it may not have the amount of content, and it's missing the create-a-skater, create-a-park, and multiplayer, but youhonestly won't care once you start playing again. In fact, the nostalgia factor is worth $10 alone.
No noooo, lol. Just take all gold medals for every character and that should be it. I already finished 5 skater and currently with Tony Hawk himself. I heard you can unlock Officer Dick by getting all medlas with Tony but dunno. A video review showed Officer Dick as a selectable character by clicking on a little symbol over Tony's head, but it could also be a developer's pre-test. I'm from Europe (Germany) and got it o.0
Well, I just checked the german appstore on iTunes and it isn't available there - you must have gotten it on the american appstore. That makes your reply just a tad misleading to all of the people (including me) eagerly awaiting this game in our respective appstores. It isn't out in Germany and it isn't out in Denmark either... yet. Damn. I'm considering buying it on the american appstore soon if they don't get their act together and do an international release soon - what's up with this segregation of the stores? Why stay away from a huge market? Why? Why?! Argh... Well, getting a a playstation 1 from my brother in law soon (retro machines are THE THING!) and will get THPS 1 and 2 surely. Then they can suck my chocolate salty balls
Can I get some help I'm on a 2G iPod Touch and can't pull off any special tricks once I get my meter full. I thought I remembered from the original game on the PS1 that there is a button to push in sequence with the d-pad moves but the "buy tricks" menu (in this app) for special it doesn't say that any of the "buttons" have to be pushed as well. Can I really be the only one who isn't able to pull off a special tricks - any tips?
They didn't put the buttons you have to pull off for a special trick but it's like the PS1-Version: The first combination-row is for lip/grind/slide-Tricks The second is for flip-Tricks the third are for the grab-tricks. Yeah, it confusing as hell but you can see all combinations exactly three times.
I just have to complete 2 more characters, than I have every character 100 % completed! The biggest bug that I found though, is that when i try to play with officer Dick (3th map for example) my screen starts shaking, and not only in the game, also when I go to the main Ipod screen it still shakes.. Anyone know whatsup? :S
Did anyone complete the drain the fountin challange in philidelphia with Kareem Cambell yet? I can't seem to get it
@Dan007 Yea, that is a known bug several people reported. You'll be able to finish career mode with all players except Officer Dick. @gatorsxrule You need to get up to the balcony to drain the fountain. To get up, you need to grind the spine that's to your right at the start of the level, jump from the wooden ramp OVER the second wooden ramp and ONTO the rail. Then after landing jump from the planter onto the balcony (doing a 'boneless' for more air).
I grind the spine but I can't seem to jump over the landing and on the rail, I always get on the other ramp, and I have all stats upgraded 100% and I'm doing the boneless This is as far as I get
No, thats actualy not an easy way to do it. You know the grind where The Secret Tape is? Grind it all along the way, and at the end you can jump of it onto the balcony.
Grind the spine, Manual, Jump Over the Kicker to the other one, Manuap again, grind the rail, Manual, and then jump from the planter, if done correctly, u should get to the balcony easily, way easier than the hiden tape cable grind, trust me.
2 things: They pay to distribute the songs, meaning I would hear them in the game even if I don't already own them (unlike iPod music) and, more importantly, this version doesn't even have the original soundtrack. Also, is this even going to get an international release, or are they going to force yet more people to use cracked applications? Turning would-be legitimate customers into potential pirates is a VERY STUPID MOVE. But wait, what am I saying - it's Activision, what else can I expect from what is hands down the worst, most greedy and most incompetent publishing company in existence right now. Not the first time one of their iPhone games has seemingly disappeared into oblivion (Geometry Wars anyone?), either.
