I still only have BOTW and haven't had the urge to buy any other game on the switch on on iOS.

I have Zelda, Mario Kart, the Shovel Knight collection, Wonderboy and I got Blaster Master this week, as it has a limited time free DLC and I was always going to get it.

TBH, I could easily just have Zelda, but I promised not to play it when my eldest daughter isn't around, so I've sunk a few hours into Shovel Knight too. Mario Kart I got for the family but I will definitely play it more solo once I tire of Zelda - it's great. I'm a bit overloaded on 2D platformers, but they're all excellent. Wonderboy and Blaster Master are pretty short too, say 5-10hrs, so I'm not too stressed about a backlog.

Blimey, that sounds awfully familiar, add Fast RMX to the list and we have the same games so far. And a similar can't play Zelda situation. My wife, who actually loves all of the top-down Zelda games, but has difficulty with the 3D ones. She just won't practice is what I keep saying. Anyway, she likes to watch me play so she can shout things out at me :D so I've promised not to play it (too much) when she's at work.

Easier said than done though, even over 150 hours into it I'm still loving Zelda. And with me working from home it's all too tempting to play it. Like I don't have 40 odd other consoles/computers and hundreds of games to occupy my time with, not to mention I should be working :p

I'm also annoyed because my in-laws didn't buy my nephew a Switch for his birthday and we've been wanting to play Mario Kart against each other :( He's only 8 so I doubt he'll be buying his own. Don't get me wrong, I'm not annoyed at them, totally their choice what they decide to buy, no problem with that. What I'm annoyed at is the wife won't let me buy him one because then we'd have to get something extravagant for my niece.
Bloody wimmin, I'll just wait a few weeks and buy them one for both of them, then there's no favouritism. Besides, I need someone to play Mario Kart with, my mates still have a stupid "Nintendo is for kids" attitude, sooooo annoying.

Aaannnnnd I'm waffling on again, sorry, bloody morphine gives me verbal diarrhoea :D

Fortunately that's one thing Nintendo have done right for a change. You can easily buy any game from any region without breaking rules, Nintendo have made it pretty straightforward for us.

Rather than me type a list of what to do, I'm feeling lazy :D just google buy Switch games from any region and you'll be inundated with tutorials showing you how to legitimately buy any game you want, from any country you want.

The easiest way around that issue is to go to a website such as thecardcloset.com or one of many others of course, and buy a USA eShop card. Then you can use that as payment. It's easier than trying to pay Nintendo directly.

I think my second Switch means might be Splatoon 2. While I have played Splatoon 1 or 2 I saw it and it seemed interesting! I'm not of arcade style games and not into fps... but the way Splatoon 2 works seems less about killing and more about owning more game share etc...

The whole Minecraft thing has kind of passed me by. Don't think I'm going to start now. I reckon I've got enough to keep me going anyway now until SF2 and/or ARMS.

I have tried to get into Minecraft unsuccessfully several times. I have it on 360, PS4 and Vita and I don't know why! Ha ha. My kids like it, though, so it's not a total loss (though they mostly play it on computer).

I will pick up MineCraft even though I own it on a bunch of other systems.

Yeah me too, never got into minecraft despite my nephews constant nagging for me to do so :D
I suppose making games all day I just couldn't be bothered sitting down to play a game that I have to make stuff in, I get enough of that.

I've got Street Fighter pre-ordered so that'll probably be my next game. But I'm still playing Zelda and probably will for a while, Mario Kart is filling in the gaps and I've a ton of other games I've not even started yet (not all on Switch though.)

There's not terribly credible rumors that Sony is going to reveal a Switch competitor. Portable PS4 with a dock (but in this case the dock is optional). Yeah, I doubt it, but would be cool if by some miracle it ended up true... well assuming they didn't go the route of proprietary memory cards again....

That would be interesting, though PS4 levels of power are obviously not quite achievable, the battery would last 10 minutes :D There is definitely scope for something more powerful than Switch.

Saying that, Sony would have to work damn hard to get my money. I've been shafted by them too often with their abandonment of platforms to buy anything but their home consoles any more.
But I would definitely consider it if they did, well, basically the opposite of everything they did with the Vita.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is coming to the Switch. I was surprised by how much I liked The Pirates Curse. Looking forward to this.
