This is the only thing I don't like is that games are being released in other places and not all of us can get it even though switch is region unlocked. I was binding of isaac but ts not straight forward at all, i just hope all the games end up getting released everywhere. But besides that im soooooo happy for the success of the switch, i havnt gamed on my ipad since as of yet. The games we will get this year and some of surprises in stire are going to be fantastic! The success will defo be maintained as they learned from past wii u mistakes.
I've been spoiled by the iPhone and iPad! Now that I bought a switch I'm re-entering the console gaming experience over my iPhone and iPad! The sticker price of $59.99 made me a bit nervous as I was a big game who owned at least 10 systems from pong to the PS3. I've played .99 - $19.99 for iPhone and iPad games but now the switch is a different ball game with games getting as high as 59.99!
Got the Switch, it's a very nice device, it's better than I thought it would be given the Wii U pad, the Wii U pad looks like a toy compared to this so glad with my purchase. Played Snake Pass for half an hour and it looks great, controlling the snake is tricky, on normal surfaces like grass it works great but when you need to swing your snake around wooden obstacles and stuff it's very finnicky or how you say that, you really need to put the hours in I think to learn how to control the snake, need to play more to see what it holds, but it's fun nonetheless never controlled a snake that actually acts like a snake so that is very new to me. Looking forward to Mario and Mario vs. Donkey Kong and stuff like that and some Nintendo puzzles. My first Game device will still be the Ipad Pro it's so much more advanced than the Switch, not only the bigger screen but all the things you can do on it, the Switch is only for games and that's fine as long as they are from Nintendo mostly.
Here is a pic of the game Snipperclips, normally I got my Pro on this stand and now the Switch is on it, really love Snipperclips, people who know me know that I love Snipperclips more than Zelda and Snake Pass because Snipperclips is the game I mostly adore, very happy now with this Switch more games like Snipperclips please.
Snipperclips shows why Nintendo is great at making fun games, Nintendo lost me to IOS 8 years ago, because after the Gamecube which I think is the most fun console ever or was now it will be the Switch I hope, the Wii was poor and don't even want to speak about the Wii U, but I think Nintendo is on the way back and I am happy to support them again because fun is what you need in life. Now I can Switch between Ipad and you know who ha ha.
Congrats! Glad your on board too! Comparing the switch and pro though is apples and oranges, switch could do many of the things pro does but Nintendo are not after the replace a mobile/tablet game, they are after a pure gaming machine. Thats why they havnt added other services like Netflix and YouTube or even a browser...they did not want to lose the message they were conveying, which is...if you want a real gaming device with quality titles get a switch. I personally love their approach this time and i think it will show by the end of the year when it will have sold a few million. I cant game yet on my ipad as im just not getting the same intrest or immersion from the games as I am with the current small switch library. Also im 150 hours ito zelda lol even though i have completed i just want to keep exploring, you will have a blast with it. About to fire up snake pass now!
Got mine a week ago. I like the quality overall. I think it is too big to be a good portable (although I can carry it in three parts in all my jackets) and still to small to hold comfortably with huge hand. I was shocked there is no grip yet like for the PSP/Vita for the Switch with attached Joycons. The screen is nice and big, but really too reflective. Even in non sunlight situations at home, gym or tram the screen reflects the ceiling or my face distracting from the game. It turned out as expected, I never used the dock, as I have "better" console for playing games on TV. This is a PSP/Vita successor for me and I just hope emulators as well as more Indie games come to it.
Yes! New zelda update has fuxed some major frame rate issues! Now i can go to the fntain and its running smoothly!
I like playing Snipperclips with only the left joy-con, it's great to play games this way, I think you can play the new Mario this way too and more games of course, looking forward to that. I have a love/hate relationship with Snake Pass, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, deleted it for now. This deleting is really great, because you always can redownload a deleted game, so no need of a micro card for me, just download-finish-delete ha ha, just as I do with my IOS games. Played on the t.v. today for the first time but on the little screen it's more fun somehow, and the screen is really great.
Spent about an hour with Has Been Heroes, love the idea but hate the controls, especially the confusing nature of lane changing.
No I said no need of a micro card that's all, because a lot of people always complain about the 32 GB from Nintendo.
Sorry. I missed your second post somehow. I'd really like a 2D Metriod but I'd take any Metriod at this point.
