I think you have to have the eshop cards from the region you are purchasing something from, at least that is the way it is in the Japan e-shop.
If you use a debit or credit card it will ask for stuff like the zip code, address ect. I know for the Japan eshop people are getting eshop cards from PlayAsia. I am in the US, I am assuming that is the issue you are running into unless I am misunderstanding what you are trying to do. If you end up needing US eshop cards that will be pretty easy for you.
Snake Pass is coming next week - looks great. It seems to have a kind of Banjo Kazooie feel to it, very cartoony and friendly, but with challenging puzzles and an intriguing movement. Who's in?
https://mobile.pcgamesupply.com/catalog/buygames/Nintendo-Wii-Points-Card Try PC Game Supply. I've never used them so I can't vouch for them. You can choose the region and currency and they email the code to you.
Not that surprised. The trailer did nothing for me. As someone who plays and loves a lot of iOS games, it looks like a mediocre mobile game, albeit with quite nice art. They're lucky to be on Switch so early in its life, when there isn't much else out in the eshop yet. If anyone wants an RPG experience (and let's say Zelda is an open-world adventure game, not an RPG), then I Am Setsuna still looks like the best current option.
I don't have a Switch, but I've enjoyed I Am Setsuna quite a bit on the PS4/Vita. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a turn-based RPG.
Got mine on launch day. Not tried it in the dock yet as only use it as a handheld for Zelda. Can't wait to get mario kart in 5 weeks! How can we add friends to our switch? Also the switch is not region locked
I will get the Switch just for Snake Pass, it's the most interesting game besides Zelda at the moment.
Same here I think I used it once in the dock. You can add us using friend codes which most of us left in the friend code thread here on TA.
Hey dude, with regards to friends ive said before nintendo life has an amazing thread where everyone is sharing friend codes, i have 70 friends just from there. Unfortunately our friend thread here has not got many, very few have wanted ti share codes but hopefully that will grow?
I am ok with the few here I mean its like people on FB that have a million friends but they dont really know them lol.
Theres litterally 4 people though that have shared codes here lol i am personally not ok with that, nor do u eva eed to know the people that u play online with anyway, it doesnt make a difference knowing their faivroute colour to play with them lol i personally dont have facebook or any other social app apart from this and Nintendo life, hence it was ifficult to get any friends on my 3ds. Personally speaking im very happy to have found a forum where people share freely their codes on Nintendo life
I didn't think about the Switch until I saw Zelda and it brought back fond memories of when I played the original Zelda as a kid. I decided to look into the Switch and hear the craziness of trying to get one with it being sold out everywhere etc... I heard Toys R Us might have them today and found an app that showed my local target might have 7. I showed up at 8am and they had 8 and picked up a switch! Can't want to try Zelda. Waiting to get get it at Best Buy since they have the rewards program and 20% off new games! Going to go pick it up tomorrow.
Aw congrats thats awesome dude, u will fall in love the hype is real with this one, im 130 hours in and on my way to the final destination, i could have done it at the 79-80 hour mark but im having so much fun and im still no where near bored. If you like exploring and have a curious mind u will get lost in just discovering secrets
Exploring a wide open world is exactly what o want to do! I shouldn't of watched so many YouTube videos and read so many reviews at it made me rethink and get the Switch! Can't wait to buy the game tomorrow! 1) any issues with the joycon not working? 2) any issues sky switch screen getting scratches in the Switch box...?
It's good to hear that Nintendo is getting more out there for people to buy. You're in for a real treat with Zelda. 1) I've had no issues at all. 2) I've only had mine docked 2 times. I like playing it as a handheld. I think as long as you're careful and not rough with it the screen will be fine.
