I've watched a side by side video and l'm surprised at how good the Wii U version looks and plays compared to the Switch. If I had a Wii U, I think I would have waited for Mario to get the Switch. Speaking of the Wii U, why hasn't the price come down? They're still selling for $250 to $300.
Great move. BOTW is a must buy not the Switch. Unless you really want the OTG "feature". They are the same exact thing. Almost nothing more nothing less on either platform. Unless you don't have a Wii U but you want the game, then maybe it makes more sense to get a Switch over the Wii U.
BOTW is originally a Wii U game then being ported to Switch. So pbviously the Wii U version plays good. Technically speaking it is suppose to be better on Wii U as it was build ground up from there
Ahh...didn't realize they were pulling the inventory. I wonder what will happen to those units? Recycle the components? Maybe bury them in a ditch like Atari did with E.T.?
Finish up Horizon so you can stick to BotW. Zelda is widely being acknowledged as possibly the best game ever made.
There is no way I can finish Horizon up and ignore my shiny new Switch and Zelda lol. I will just have to go back and forth a bit like I have been. But Zelda is mind blowing and I swear its because a full fledged $60 game is on a handhheld. I am so used to mobile games that the first time I got to a village and there was some houses I didnt think I could go in them!
Haha sames! Ive been testing things and thinking surely i cant do this and surely i cant do that....and sure enough...i can! And then some!
So does anyone work in an office enviroment here? I havent brought my Switch to work yet lol The main reason I love IOS gaming is I can be a normal adult (haha) on my phone playing games and people cant tell. On the Switch people would all be in my business what do you guys think about that anyone else feel the same?
The later media of Zelda looks pretty washed out. How is it on the Switch screen? Also, I mostly loathe running around aimlessly for hours because not knowing where to go next. Happened a lot for me in older Zelda games, but I was younger then. Will I waste lots of time on finding my next job or item? If I get a Switch I will use it mostly for gaming on the go. So I hope for a smaller revision or additional more handheld friendly version, whch should be easy to make.
I wouldn't worry about wandering around aimlessly. There seems to be a decent trail of breadcrumbs for the main quest, to get you started, and any actual wandering around aimlessly is up to you - it's also part of the joy. Might be daunting for under-12s, admittedly. Also, I wouldn't worry about the screen - the display is excellent. Must admit, I'd be fascinated to see a Switch 2.0, but since that's possibly a couple years away, you could really be missing out on loads by then. Love my Switch! It really doesn't feel like a too big handheld - think wider, shallower iPad mini. Admittedly, forget about putting in your pocket.
Oh my bad, didn't notice why I was on first page of the post. Probably I tap wrongly cuz mostly I am reading via my iPhone browser. Lol
Look into your journal. It actually help you keep track of your main as well as your side quest. So you can mark the location you actually want to go to for your next quest and so forth. But then again a lot of times even doing so you likely get side track by other things that you stumble across along the way. Which makes you go off track again. Lol
I just had an omg epic moment in botw and i killed a baddass boss fight/puzzle first go! I feel so proud lol If u havnt gine to any snowy peaks guys u shud get plenty of peppers or cold res clothing and go find some adventure in the icy snow covered mountains!
Thanks for the info, that sounds good indeed. Have Horizon, RE7 and other stuff to play, so I don't think I miss out if I play Zelda later this year. We might hear something on Nintendo's portable plans, if Switch turns out to be a success it would be a no brainer to make a more portable version with the same hardware, maybe just without the extra power for 1080p.
Did you get that armor? There was like 3 different times you could of gotten it. I am still wearing the initial clothes besides that chest piece but how the heck do you afford other stuff in the stores?
Really dude aw man, im actually really into it i ha opened nearly 70% of the map, and i have some really good gear which has been enhanced twice.ok dude for rupees, go to your first village is it kokriko? And SELL your stuff, food and materials and things like that to get some money going. there u will have a clothes shop too to with armour, and in that same town get the grand fairy quest who will enhance the armour u bought. Also complete as many shrines as you can get as the orbs can be transferred for power. Also LOOK everywhere, there are hidden rupees everywhere, hidden chests everywhere, under water and behind walls. On water your statis and magnesis are awesome radars for treasure as it gets highlighter even when treasure is deep underwater.
Close to impossible, tbh the current joycon is already very small. It's unlikely you can go any smaller because given the current one already don't really work well with some ppl. Making it smaller only makes things worst. So only way to make it smaller is probably to redesign the whole system with fix control which means no more joycon. That defeat the idea of the whole Switch thing and also will cause problem with certain games. ARMS for example will obviously become unplayable with such design. It also makes no sense to make another one that has less power with same hardware. Cuz they will need to get a new chip design which cost less. Else if they can't reduce the overall price, it makes no sense for people to even buy it. Plus the current one tbh is already bearly anywhere near the level of current consoles out there in terms of power. Making a less powerful one only makes the scenario worst cuz it means less games can be ported over. Plus hardware limitations Nintendo will again lose all 3rd party support just like what happen over their last few gen of consoles. Remember while this thing can go portable, but it's being advertise as console rather than handheld. Lastly the most obvious reason, one of the main key feature of Switch is being able to go portable and bring it on the go. Making another more portable version without the TV mode complete defeat the purpose and idea of this whole Switch design. The only 2 things that are highly possible in future are first make a version that has more internal storage. Which is possible due to the fact current internal storage is using modular design. All they need is only to swap 1 small pcb chip and good to go. 2nd is make a XL which is a bigger version just like what they did with DS and 3DS. That will likely come with improved joycon cuz its larger and may have better analog sticks and etc plus more comfortable for most. And with a larger screen so more enjoyable while played in portable. But with slight compromise in portability. Basically the similar situation to 3DS and their XL variant.
