    WII

Wii software lineup trailer (Kirby, Super Mario Collection, DKC Returns, Zelda Skyward Sword, etc

Perhaps one of the sweetest looking games made. My word, the variety of play in that trailer. Makes me think this is the spiritual successor to Yoshi's Island. Slated for 2010 worldwide release.

Same here. This could possibly be the first console I've ever bought on day one. Usually I wait for a later build with fixes and whatnot, but Nintendo are pretty good at getting things right first time. Obviously they'll improve it eventually, but it should be safe buying from the first batch without fear of it melting or giving me a brain tumor.

Yeah I am the same way. Though I did get the DS within the week it came out. So I have no doubt that the 3DS will be just as awesome. I just really wonder how much it's going to be. Hope not more than $300. That's going to really suck. lol but I don't see it being just that much. Maybe about $249. It's 25000 Yen and that about $300, and the OP post makes a good point, Japan's units are usually more expensive. So here's hoping.

Nintendo are going to kill it with greatness next year. It's going to be massive, like Christmas day used to be before you knew Santa wasn't real.

It's anticipated date in the US is March 11th, which is awesome. Just in time for my B-day on April 5th. I know what I'm asking for! :D

I'm really digging this Virtual Console that they're bringing to it.
I wonder, how will Paper Mario do in 3D?

Mine is on April 19th, so same with me!:p
The same thing has happened with the past few main series Pokemon games, and the tradition is luckily being carried on with Black and White being released in March (I believe. If not, then early April).

How the hell am I going to afford a $300 (US equivalent to Japanese price) system, and all these (probably) $40 games?! D:

We can only hope they will be $40 games. But like I was saying earlier, I doubt it will be $300 exactly. Probably around $249, or maybe $279 at most. Not saying that isn't pricey and hard to afford (trust me I pretty much only get new systems on birthdays lol) but if you want it enough y ou will find a way. Turn to a life of crime. It works out great. LOL

So DSi to DSi XL was big enough for you, but entirely new hardware, new technologies and an all-round boost in the quality of everything from graphics and controls to sound and developer-support isn't a large enough step? This is giant! You just made the mistake of purchasing the XL too soon, for which I genuinely feel sorry for you, that was a particularly nasty move by Nintendo.
